Clearly they haven't studied GAF where the average is 8 inches and no session dips below 45 minutes.

40-45 minutes is the usual time for my wife and I. That's foreplay (15 minutes) and sexual intercourse (25-30 minutes).

Rarely have we had it go higher (handful of 2 plus hour sessions).

Married 11 years, 3 kids, full time job. We try our best to savor the times we get to have sex (once or twice a week)

Depends on the partner and their preferences, most guys I've dated over the last few years have varied from between roughly 10 and 20 minutes depending on their kinks, what they're into, and what pace they like to go without foreplay. Foreplay will obviously extend that. Just about the right length for me anyways. Any longer than that and I tend to get a tad frustrated. Or bored if he can't spice it up a little!

And I do not find the sex depressing (altough I can see how my post could be seen that way). It has been like this for 17 years, and I lasted just as long the first time. And I don't see it as a problem, it's just something annoying at times. And my current gf knows that it has nothing to do with her, so she is not depressed by it.

I just want people to see that it is ni'm ot something to work towards, and be happy that you last 10 mins and just go again after 5 mins if you wish.

See I can last for a few hours also If I want and I'm typically on the longer end either way and I have no issues what so ever. I guessing I just care less or your more a glass half empty kinda guy.

These "benefits" are entirely a matter of perspective and mind set. Same ith everything.
 
I can normally got around 30 minutes. Sometimes longer but I get tired and there's plenty of times where I fuck up and blow it early.
 
I assume this is only counting the act itself. If so, 10 minutes is about the norm for me depending on the position, mood, wind direction and so on.

I was married for 10 years and still foumd my wife hot so this seems about right for us. Again not including foreplay.

Now that I am single again and there are new girls it is not a good combination. How many times can you say, "its been a while." Lol

The test doesn't count foreplay nor oral, so five minutes seems fair. All in 20–40 minutes seems reasonable, especially if we go at it more than once.

From a biolgical/evolutionary perspective, long coitus sessions don't make sense.

Our ancestors would've been eaten in the African savannah if we got down for hours.

Given how evolution works, minute men would've most likely passed down their genes, while the low and slow cats would've been eaten by lions, failing to passdown their impressive stamina in the process.

So I'm not surprised at the average for actual intercourse lol.

Regardless males are designed to cum within 2 minutes (on average) where women are more like 12-14 minutes, so there is a rift in the biological compartment.
The evolutionary reason is that women would fuck a lot of guys in the past, and often other makes would come up and attack men while they where having sex.

I'd say no more than 10 of actual penetration and 20 or so of foreplay. I think that's ideal for me, but men aren't as complex as women. Plus I'm old, I have to fall back on the mouth game, there's no shame in it!
 
I fall on that average side, maybe shorter. But I pride myself on my hand and tongue skills and my wife has never complained about sex not going on forever.
