I'm, generally speaking, not too big on remasters, because I tend to have the original version of the games I'm interested in that are getting remastered. That said, I did just get TP HD as a gift last month and enjoyed playing that game with it not looking so crappy (really has not aged well compared to other GCN and Wii greats imo). And I definitely loved that Zelda collector's disc on GCN, having missed all four games on it to not having had a NES or a N64 (just a SNES). The point is, I get the "I don't want a system that is supported with a horde of Wii U remasters" sentiment and, moreover, I share it. The thing is, there are people who are on the other side like I was with those Zelda games on GCN and there are also just things that could really use the graphics bump like TP (even with the bump being relatively lazy in that case). Personally, I think Wii U games look great, but I'm the sort of person who doesn't notice graphics issues until I've gone back after having seen the new thing so maybe I'm crazy. But there are a lot of people who missed Wii U so a slew of remasters makes great sense towards building a quality catalog fast. I just hope they are supplemental to a strong, new lineup instead of crutch because Nintendo really needs to impress to make NX a success and I also want new games

Is he Samus? Hmmm...would seem he has some self hate going on if that's the case with the paltry Metroid music selection and until-recently broken Samus in Smash 4.

The only explanation is Sakurai's just biased. I bet Ridley killed his parents or something.
