the anniversary consoles were all won by GAME employees as far as i know -_-.
Not surprised because they were unsealed and sitting on the shelves when I bought one at a store last week. The GAME employee also told me "You could win an anniversary console!" when I was checking out. Right, like they wouldn't have taken out the ticket when they were opening them -_-
Already got one though 
Speaking of which, I have no use for the 1 year PS+ and PSN top up because I don't have an UK account. Don't know what a reasonable price is for these but if anyone wants the PS+ for £30 and/or the £20 credit for £15, shoot me a PM!

Ok, now amazon refunded me for the Luigi's mansion (from January) instead of re-send it as they promised on Saturday, lol.
I'm chatting with support to sort this out now.
EDIT: Ok, now they promise to contact me by email when the item is in stock and keep the same price..., so, another several months waiting.

So I emailed The Game Collection asking if they would lower their Uncharted 4 price to competitors such as shop to (£38.85) and they said this:
"Thank you for your inquiry! At the moment our price reflects the cost of the stock that is coming in and so we are unable to change the price.
This is not to say that the price of the game won't change before release although this is unlikely. "
Obviously, I didn't expect them to make a pricing decision based on my email but I curious to see their response. I'd prefer to get the game a few days early and TGC seems to be a reliable retailer which does that. Oh well.

Yeah, they're not in a race to the bottom, which is a good thing as that killed a lot of sites. Think they just charge a % on top of whatever price they can get on stock.
Think it's likely that sites will have large price disparities going forward as it would depend on if the retailer paid for stock up front a while back or are paying now with the £ falling quite a bit.
wouldn't surprise me - clearly the cases had been re-sealed at some point, pretty much each one had cosmetic damage that could only happen whilst not being sealed...I handled around 60 (buying for folks on another forum whe were no UKers) and didn't see one winning ticket

Cool, I'm guessing the extra scene isn't worth the £2-3 difference.
I could've sworn there were some rumours about DLC being released for Until Dawn though? Might be worth waiting until after E3 I guess.

Accoring to HUKD you can get PS41TB+Dark Souls 3+Bloodborne Goty+2nd Dual Shock 4 for 299 GBP in Tesco. Sounds like a great deal for UK GAF.
I've never had any issues and they dispatched surprisingly quickly, ymmv.

I believe the extended edition has an extra scene they cut from the game to promote as a pre-order bonus. You cannot buy the scene as DLC so you either get it with that or never get to play it, which is bullshit because the characters are absent for a lot of the game otherwise.
You don't even notice it its that short.

Well I got the XIV ARR LE from amazon.fr and it was aaaaalll french, there was a blu-ray included with it and it was french voiceover with no way to change the language as far as I could tell. Might still be worth it but I figure I'd warn you

The King's Quest chapters on Xbox aren't usually free, are they? Right now, Chapter One appears to be free on Xbox One, and Chapter Two on Xbox 360.

the season pass only gives you Ep. 2-5, it does not offer you the playable epilogue chapter.
If you see the complete collection on sale get that instead.

Having played the first episode on PS4 when it was part of the IGC, it's pretty decent. Anyone interested should be aware that it's quite different from Telltale's games, though (not that that's necessarily a bad thing!).They're not usually. Oh man!, now you scared me, it's a lot of £ less, but if it's all french it's not worth it!
I still have both preorders, but I will have to cancel one soon, in HUKD some users says that any LE is equal to all Europe-UK, but you just prove him wrong.
I wonder if I should keep both just in case the french one is in french and resell the extra for the same price I paid (to get rid of it quickly before the price collapses)

You might be thinking of the PSVR spin-off, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. There has been no DLC announced at all.
I mean, I hope I'm wrong. FFXIV ARR's the only sort of recent Square Enix LE I own so I don't know if that's how they always do it, but clearly they have done it sometimes.
I know Nintendo keeps their Euro LEs universal but that's a whole other matter.
So yeah, I haven't risked going french since then. It was a bit cheaper back then too. Your game won't be french only though, I'm sure of that.

I remember preordering Diablo 3 for the PS4 for effectively £3.20 when allowing for x4 of bonus CC points.
I think I got Destiny for around £5 and Fifa 14 for about £10 at the time doing similar.
The problem is it's a mainline Final Fantasy, so if any CE is going to have localisations in France. This will be the one.
From what I remember the Dragon Quest Heroes CE has DE and FR localisations as well.
I'm not sure it's worth risking personally.

Would be dodgy/interesting to trace back if true. Employees are usually supposed to be exempt from competitions.
Not store staff if it's specific stock I don't believe. It would just be Sony staff in this instance.

Game are a very dodgy company and as a former employee I'd love it to burn to the ground.
I'd also love it if the people working there found better jobs in a real game retailer.

Absolutely not; 8GB memory sticks are damn near worthless, and none of those games are going to be particularly great.
Do what I did, and keep an eye on Gumtree. If you're patient, eventually a good deal on a Vita and a memory stick will pop up.
