Oh yes. I was at about 322 or 324 when I started this morning. I'm at 329 now.

Only stuff dropping at the moment though is Primary, Heavy, Boots and Class Item.

Nope, just select the crucible mode directly from the director. I think it's mayhem rumble, but I don't quite remember. It will show you which playlist gives you the sterling treasure when you hover over it.

Go into the crucible section and the weekly is mayhem rumble(the one on the top right).

No. Weekly crucible playlist is not in the bottom left of the Director anymore but still available.

Open the Crucible pane. It should be the top-right icon (next to Elimination/Trials).

Nothing in IB is good enough to make it worth playing if you don't feel like doing PvP

Absolutely. It feels to me like banner week is the only time when I can find crucible trains going when I'm online.
