We'll be getting DLC up until 2017 so you're set for this year and the next at least.

DS3 felt uncomfortably like a contractual obligation to me. Its good, but it does the absolute minimum in terms of creativity and content; Miyazaki is too good to just "phone it in", so its a very competently assembled piece - but its a game that is utterly mired in its past glories and adds nothing to the series.
Its shortcomings aren't immediately apparent, I'm sure most people will have a blast on their first run through - but once they get into ng+ and beyond it becomes very apparent how thin and samey it is content-wise.

There was an opportunity to test an "upcoming FROMSoftware VR title" at work not too long ago (last year some time). Unfortunately I couldn't make it, but this seems to line up with that.

It'd be interesting if one title is PS4 exclusive and another is X1 exclusive. I was thinking the other night if MS really wants to make a new Phantom Dust that From might be the perfect dev for it.

Years have passed since demon souls, maybe they now know how to develop other games that are no Souls games?
I think Miyazaki is confident enough From has the skills to make a great new series otherwise he wouldn't have said so firmly he wants to try a new IP. Let them experiment with some new things.

You can't deny that the majority of console gamers will have no clue wtf you're talking about. Just cause you're overly sensitive to stuff normal people won't even notice. The absurd majority will play the game and love it..see a frame rate hitch or probably won't and keep on playing...whereas you'll put the controller down have a coniption fit...say its a mess..post on a msg board..etc..you're the minority.

They left it ambigious, there are 3 dots after PSVR to leave room for other unanounced platforms (like XBox 2 or whatever NX ends up being).
I don't think they'll necessarily be on board, but there is some wiggle room.

Last gen, I loved 3D Dot Game Heroes and Ninja Blade. I'm an AC and Soulsborne fan, but I enjoy other games From makes too. That doesn't stop me from also wanting more Souls though.
For me, DaS3 seemed like a return to form while using the best elements of prior Souls games. I'd welcome more of that. The only worrisome point for me would be if Miyazaki stayed way hands off. He seems like he needs a break though and wants From to diversify more, so no need to force it.
Take some time away, think about how much money you're leaving on the table, and just let Bluepoint handle the Demon's Souls remaster in the meantime

It could very well be a mecha game, but that doesn't mean it'll be an Armored Core "reboot", From has worked on multiple mecha titles.I don't see it being anything like Kingsfield either, first person dungeon crawlers are deader than mecha games. I don't see them putting a bunch of resources into taking a chance that big.

I cant wait to see what they do next. Playing the Souls games for the last 5 years has been incredible for me (god... its been that long already).

Armored Core has always been at least good. As has Shadow Tower. Echo Night on PSX is one of those hidden gems on PSX. King's Field has been variable quality. Ninja Blade was underrated fun. Their PS2 output was full of underrated gems like survival horror games such as Kuon and Echo Night Beyond. Otogi series is damned amazing. Games like Lost Kingdom, Chromehounds and Metal Wolf Chaos have cult followings (not played these yet myself). Even their licensed stuff like Another Century's Episode are supposed to be good. Then there's their Yoshitsune Eiyūden games on PS2 which are samurai action/strategy games with artwork by Yoji Shinkawa (of Metal Gear fame). So I'd say plenty of games.
How can anyone dislike them for wanting to diversify their portfolio again with varied IP?
