Match ends, winning team with three Bastions stands together proud of their victory
should have brought 3 junkrats
Pharah is the best woman in this game. Slay queen yaaasss
Now were they hard to play because of the control setup or were they heroes you had issues playing as even on the pc?
Mei is like a garbage truck on fire by comparison. All hail tracer!
Estimated Time: 0:18
Elapsed Time: 1:37
Just played on PS4 not so long ago.
PS4 is basically easy mode with the intense aim assist and low DoF.
Tracer benefits the most from this. Her blinks guarantee leaving an enemy's sight with the low DoF AND she is better to aim with at medium range.
This beta seems pretty featured, is it essentially the full game? Are there going to be features in the release version not present in the beta?
it is a stress test
the game releases in a few weeks
Oh my god I can't stop playing, I haven't enjoyed a shooter this much since Gotham City Imposters and Shadowrun. I seem to be sticking with Mercy and D.Va for now, tried Mei a little bit but it seems that her shield really isn't much use outside of coordinated teams. Junkrat is absolutely tearing me apart as Mercy though, as soon as he lets rip that spinning.... thing... I've got no hope of getting away due to her lack of mobility (unless I'm lucky and a nearby teammate is up high).
Oh, and does anyone know how long Mercy's damage boost lasts - is it literally only while the beam is active or does the effect last for a little bit afterwards? I'm not sure if I should be spreading it around everyone or focusing only on a single player.
So does the beta really just include everything in the game?
i think you mean FoV?
i tweaked with settings last night on PS4, didn't see a FoV slider but from playing it it didn't feel too closed in.
I still need to customize layout for most characters.
and with the console aim assist cranking up the sensitivity to 64 H and 36 V felt nice.

It's pretty amazing how much Asian representation Overwatch has. 5 different characters. 2 Japanese, 1 Chinese, 1 Indian, and 1 Korean. And if you want to count Zenyatta given his influence, that's 6.
Got threatened with a penalty cause I quit so many matches, anyone know what the penalty actually is?
Yes, the only thing coming shortly after launch is Competitive mode.
I'm pretty sure it does.

I'm enjoying this but it's REALLY annoying that so many people don't play as a team and nobody seems to want to play support... Meaning I have to literally every game. :/

By the same token, it's sad how little African and Latino representation there is: just Pharah and Lucio. There are more non human characters than African or Latino characters. They also don't have any lines in their native languages.
Don't be that guy. The penalty is you no longer gain XP.

Idk though this is an issue in every single multiplayer game. So many people ignore the objective :/Give people time, most of them have only been playing less than a day.
I hope soit gets better as people become familiar with the game. had the same issue at the beginning of closed beta but once i hit around level 30+ people were more than willing to change roles if they noticed something was needed.
once they discover characters like Symmetra and Lucio have more options than just heal botting they'll come around to playing support more often.

Reaper is African American.
I kind of have no choice but to quit some of the matches it puts me in. 5v2, 5v1 multiple times last night. I had a very limited amount of time to play and I wasn't gonna waste it on that shit.
Will try to actually make a team tonight though. I tried joining some friends last night and while they were full, it was cool that I could spectate their game. Loaded SUPER fast too.
I mean, he's still American...
Ah thanks. I've been leaving before hero select because Blizzard keep putting me in 400ms servers for some reason. Its not fun.Don't be that guy. The penalty is you no longer gain XP.
I have literally never had a match go to 6v2, let alone 6v1. The backfill is usually pretty quick so at most you'll be at 6v5 for 30 seconds or so.
He's Hispanic. Mexican, I assume, given his legendary skins.
