I clarified above: It's the full package that brings it near the top.
Separating the shooting from the scenarios and how the shooting is used in gameplay is a pointless diversion in my book.

I don't think so personally, Spec Ops the Line has better shooting for example. It was a valid criticism of the first three games and I'm glad ND upped their game with TLOU and UC4.

Generally, whenever somebody says the game was too easy or the AI was weak, my first question is what difficulty they played on. I think most people gravitate towards Normal when they really should be gravitating towards Hard.
Uncharted games on Normal/Hard have always a middling challenge. You are able to autopilot your way through these difficulty settings because, chances are, you're pretty good at video games. I only play Uncharted games on Crushing. Crushing feels right for me. If I was playing on a mode that felt too easy or forgiving, I would turn up the difficulty.
I mean, if I'm already on the highest difficulty, or if the game only has one difficulty, then I feel comfortable criticizing the game's challenge relative to my own ability. But if somebody is complaining a game is too easy or forgiving and they are not playing on a difficulty designed for their skill level, that's on them.

One thing I am really looking forward, which has been mentioned in a few reviews, is that there is less combat than previous games and more focus on exploration, something I wish the Tomb Raider games would have done.
Naughty Dog nail story telling and character interaction, so more focus on that really appeals to me. If it's anything close to The Last of Us in that regard, then Uncharted 4 is going to be an awesome experience.

I really haven't seen very many posts like that in this thread. There's been a lot more people trying to bait meltdowns than actual meltdowns. I'd say the review thread has been a lot more civil than the recent QB and Star Fox threads.
