I'm sure I'm gonna meltdown so hard, you guys.

Non-meltdown meltdown thread.
You're so eager to claim "meltdown" in what's been a relatively tame review thread.
These posts of yours are cringe-inducing.
Yea, he's talking complete nonsense and trying to create false controversy. This thread has been tame as hell, and we got early 8/10's straight out of the gate with VideoGamer and GamesRadar.
Zen-line exploration moments after clusterfuck shoot-outs and encounters? Cause that's how I'm interpreting that.
OC didnt add all reviews like MC that is why It shows lower.
Meta is really close to 95.
I'm gonna melt down come Tuesday. Just finished the spoiler free Kinda Funny Games reaction and loved everything I heard from Colin. All the attention to detail, the depth, the acting, the scripting, storytelling, environmental diversity, it's almost criminal this game costs only $60.I'm sure I'm gonna meltdown so hard, you guys.

Well, the point of my post was to illustrate that the consensus of reviewers has clashed with the consensus of the players before. Therefore, I wouldn't read too much into things like UC4 having such a close MC to UC3. And I wouldn't trust MC to distinguish between the best game of a franchise and the worst. I will make my own determination like everyone else and I will put more stock in player reception than critical reception, for better or for worse. So, which matters the most then. Metacritic scores or our own judgements?
Oooh, you're right.Opencritic only has 16 of the 10/10 reviews whereas metacritic has 26.

That sounds great. I'd be very disappointed if a team of this caliber with such crazy attention to detail messed up the pacing to their biggest blockbuster title. Pacing is incredibly important, even more so in action packed story driven games like Uncharted.Yea. Your interpreting it right. The game strikes a really good balance between platforming, combat and story beats.

How much of Amy Henning's story remains in this game?
Unless they come out and tell us someday, there's literally no way to know this. How much of Amy Henning's story remains in this game?
No Empire review yet? I want to see if they what they call this one if TLOU was the Citizen Kane of gaming.
Would you say that it is more TLOU pacing rather than UC2 pacing?I should point out that this isn't like UC2 pacing. UC2 kinda had this feeling of a blockbuster action movie.
The story in this game is far more personal and so the pacing is different.
My magic ball says around 4%.How much of Amy Henning's story remains in this game?

Does anyone think Sony will put together an accolades trailer for next weeks launch? They have alot of 10/10s to choose from!
That sounds interesting. Almost like the best of both worlds. Have those super intense personal moments to hook the player in hopefully and blow their minds later on once more. It's a mixture of both. It set its self up like TLOU and once everything's kinda in place, slowly transitions over the course of the game to UC2.
But I feel like it's very much it's own thing.
Marketing team already working on it I bet lol.Does anyone think Sony will put together an accolades trailer for next weeks launch? They have alot of 10/10s to choose from!
I've only played the introduction, and it was fantastic. A tad slow, but it's really diverse, rich, and a great tone setter on multiple fronts. It's not really like any of the other openers from the other games. UC2 - train sequence, UC3 - bar fight, LoU - zombie outbreak etc. Uncharted 4's instead is a bit more varied and covering wider ground.
If you haven't been following anything outside the official stuff, you won't be expected any of it either, so it was a great surprise. Haven't played any more than that yet unfortunately.
She's not credited as a writer or really for anything else in this game except the special thanks she gets for her contributions to the franchise.
So I doubt anything made it over.
Definitely. They probably already had everything laid out before reviews even dropped.Does anyone think Sony will put together an accolades trailer for next weeks launch? They have alot of 10/10s to choose from!
GWC doesn't actually play the game, he just takes available footage from elsewhere. As far as I know everything on his vídeo has been shown off officially somewhereGaf, for anyone that has seen GWC's Uncharted 4 review, does it show off new areas we havent seen before???

It's not on MC because, MC doesn't count Empire reviews. They gave it a perfect 5, it's not on MC for some reason.

LMAO, the defensiveness and the salt is astonishing. Keep it up, "9 or 10 or your opinion is worth shit" guys, the fanboyism is hilarious.
And yes, quoting my posts of people acting shitty is a "wall of Shane" now ay lmaaao
Never change guys, always making a entertaining mess of a review thread.
Fifth game. Crash Bandicoot 3 actually has a metacritic listing and is at 91 with 12 reviews. LOL.the bigger take for me here is that this is ND fourth game above 90% on metacritic, that is damn impressive
Ok, you deserve it. Wear it like a boss

Same... I did not want location and plot spoilers.
Reviewers cannot be trusted with that. Especially when their site relies on clicks for revenue.

About 25 years ago. When did we start turning video game reviews into such a serious discourse?
