Seems like the criticism has been pacing, trying to introduce Drake's brother and overused mechanics ie rope and crates.

IGN's Uncharted 3 review was a total joke so I guess they are making up for it here. A lot of reviewers complained about the unnecessary repetitive game play at the end of the game but the majority of reviewers were able to overlook it. IGN felt it detracted from the experience which is a fair criticism.

At least they explained the score but thejimquisition review didn't even explain why he scored it the way he did except that Nathan is a serial killer and Naughty Dog games are predictable from a mile away.

To be fair to him, both Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider were reviewed by the same person.

And, according to him, he has played through both games. If this is true, I have no beef with his earlier post.

Following ethomaz calculations and considering Edge score must have the same kind of effect of IGN's, I am pretty sure that a 10 by Edge would make the meta increase to 95.

Of course, there is no way to actually know that. When it happens we will see I guess. I hope I am right.

PS: Just out of curiosity, are you brazilian? Your nickname is the same of someone from other forum in which I used to participate. Probably not, but I kind of want to have the confirmation lol

Regardless, what is RotTR's publication Meta concensus vs. UC4's? That is every bit as relevant to the discussion with contrasts.

The more I think about how impressive it is to get one game a 94, let alone 4 in a row, the more I appreciate ND as a dev. I personally didn't care for Jak games during PS2 days but they created such an identity for themselves in the last 10 years, its really impressive. Kinda like From Software.

The anticipation a few years from now at E3 or where ever when they unveil their new IP will be nuts, They can go in so many directions.

Yeah Uncharted and TLOU took them to the next level. These folks consistently make great stuff.

They have to be happy as hell.

Before ND's PS3 output, they developed only one game that I loved, the first Jak and Daxter. Now they're one of the best studios in the world and among my favorite developers. They've definitely surprised the hell out of me over the past decade.

I'm dying for a new IP from them. The Last of Us 2 will be great, but I'm really itching for something completely new.

He's right about one thing, they are predictable....you can always count on an amazing game, it is known.

Damn it's still at a 94 on MC, counted 26 perfect scores (42 95+ scores), it's gotta be close to a 95 now.

Totally, it's bucking the trend of scores coming in after the first batch being lower, these next lot have nearly all been 100s or at worst, 95s XD....ND based gods as always.

At this point it is really hard to question anything they do. I know a lot of people don't want a sequel to TLOU, but if they want to make it they probably some amazing ideas.
