the fuck? that ain't an excuse! bring your Ps4 to the dormitory!

just kidding. do what you want.
My dormitory has no TV. :P

The college actually has their own PS4, but the discs and controllers are in horrible conditions. If I played Uncharted 4 there, I would never forgive myself.

So ... glancing over the thread, it seems some homies have fallen on the battlefield. Rest well, brave warriors. I hope it was worth it.

I told y'all nukkas to keep cool SMH

Bring your own controller + buy your own Uncharted 4

Plug in and play when nobody is around

When you finish take controller + Uncharted 4 with you back to your room

Store it securely, preferably in a safe

??????

Profit

8547/90 = average score of 94.96 ~ 95

Nice - that's not a weighted average like MC uses.

Funny about OpenCritic, though...

I got an email 2 days ago off Simply Games saying they had processed my money, but that:

"Due to restrictions put in place by the Publisher we will be receiving our launch stock on Monday 9th of May and despatching all pre-orders the same day."

Gutted.

So what's this "Triple pack" you get in the Deluxe edition?

it is just the season pass bundled with the game which includes sp dlc and two multiplayer packs. i don't think there is a retail package out there that has the season pass bundled in. plus the digital deluxe comes out to be 5$ cheaper than buying the game and season pass separately. of course if you are getting the retail game for cheaper thru GCU or Prime then that comes out cheaper

When's the preload for the game be up?

should be Sunday like the majority of other games

Pretty sure my Internet at home isn't fast enough for Remote Play at a distance of 200+ kilometers anyway. Also, my first playthrough has to be the best experience. 7.1 surround sound on a 46 inch TV. :P

Nah, I won't enjoy it to the fullest unless I play at home. I repeat, 7.1 surround sound on a 46 inch TV. :P

One guy who works for them said that they are working on getting international review scores in the rating. So far it's only english reviews or even only NA reviews at Opencritic.

you'd be surprised. a couple of months ago I was playing digimon story cyber sleuth on my Ps Vita and I work like 80 miles away from home.

I feel you.
7.1 surround sound...

I told a white lie to my GF so that I could be at home all weekend with my early copy and the flat to myself. The worst part about the white lie?
It's my GF's 25th birthday on Saturday. I said I had work this weekend so I didn't have to go to her parents (4 hours away)...

Going to be a glorious Saturday/Sunday right up close to my decent screen with great headphones on

Nah, my Internet download speed is only like 4 Megabit/s. That's right, Megabit, which would be about 500 Kilobytes. Can't imagine how slow the upload speed would be.

Haha, enjoy, man. I will be feeling jelly.

Just saw your edit. Holy shit, dude, is a game worth ruining your girlfriend's birthday? :P

It's just the fact that you hadn't even edited the post. You had the option not to post anything at all but just posted "nvm".

I've seen this like 20 times in the various Uncharted hype threads – just had to say something, not having a dig at you or anything
I DID post something though. Then I quickly edited it when I realized my screw up. I wouldn't just randomly post a 'nvm' in here.

I think IGN will drop the score to 8.5, just watch

At lest dropping to 8.5 would make sense (i.e. online not working well). Unless they love multiplayer I can't see a way for them to justify increasing this at all. (if they do it will confirm that these scores are complete bullshit :))

Lucy O'Brien is evidently pretty tough to please. She gave LBP3 6.8, meta is 79, Until Dawn 7.5, meta is 80, and now potentially UC4 8.8, whilst the meta is 9.4. So much for IGN being one of the more liberal review outlets!

Lucy O'Brian is evidently pretty touch to please. She gave LBP3 6.8, meta is 79, Until Dawn 7.5, meta is 80, and now potentially UC4 8.8, whilst the meta is 9.4. So much for IGN being one of the more liberal review outlets!

I know it's their opinions and all but in recent times IGN have been all over the place and constantly tend to give lower scores than the meta. Their reviews are poorly written too.

Read my guilt-ridden edits above to offset your jelly a little bit

edit: lmao you saw it. Haha, I have a day off next week where I'm buying her brunch and dinner and we have the whole day together (and I do have work to do this weekend) so it could be worse.

I struggled with the decision though

Not true, for Rise of the Tomb Raider she gave a 9.3 and meta is 8.8.

When I heard Lucy was reviewing Uncharted 4 this was my initial reaction.

I just noticed that the little 'Last edited by' notifications aren't showing up for anyone on GAF except me - even when people are clearly editing their posts.

Totally ignore me, mate. It looked like there was no edit and you just posted "nvm" straight up!

An expression. Like jeeeeeez I can't believe ______.
I think, lol.

Yep. The '-o' variant is a fairly British thing. 'Jeezo'. It's a classic.

SoTC is her 4th favorite game of all time tho

do we want her to review The Last Guardian? :D

Well, LBP3 just simply isn't very good, and that's coming from a fan of the series in general. Until Dawn deserves a little better than that though.

as a hardcore LBP fan though, the third game was a pretty big letdown. but to be fair i don't think i disliked it for the reasons she gave it a harsh ass rating.

What is it? Does it have spoilers?

Won't look at anything unless the poster answers these questions!

Unlike Gribble I've been in all these hypey threads and haven't been spoiled once
yet
and I'm geting the game tomorrow.

Nah, it's Nolan North and Troy Baker talking.
