What is it? Does it have spoilers?

Won't look at anything unless the poster answers these questions!

Unlike Gribble I've been in all these hypey threads and haven't been spoiled once
yet
and I'm geting the game tomorrow.
No spoilers, it's Nolan and Troy in a short video.

Nah, it's Nolan North and Troy Baker talking.

She also sung Lara's praises in her review, even though everyone that has read a decent book or watched a decent film in his/her life knows her character's horrible.

This alone prevents me from ever taking her opinion seriously

I have no idea if this is the case for her, but it's very easy to get carried away with just getting to play as a strong woman in a game.

Could be that. She quite specifically and precisely praised various aspects of the writing, though. It wasn't just a "she's a strong, independant women, UHUH" sort of compliment.

Oh well, in that case I got nothing to explain that. I only know that I am really excited when I get to play as a half decent female in a game.

What's the multiplayer like? How many maps, modes etc.

I loved the beta but cautious of buying this at launch

8 maps, 3-5 modes, and a huge amount of free post-launch content up until spring next year (including a co-op mode and lots of new maps)

As well as dat 14+ hours SP campaign.

Samsies. It could still be that: the novelty of it. I like Lara in TR2013 and RotTR, and they're good games, but the writing and acting direction is poor across the board.

So so sweet. Still can't believe it, so much content in this day and age

Booo! Glad to see your back though.

I really enjoyed MGSV, so maybe my impressions of UC4 are overhyping it as well. 😅

Aye my man Prime!

And nah I kid I love MgsV...except multiplayer tho

he is one

Rainbow Six Siege did the same thing and it has been glorious. Great post-launch support and a lot of content at launch. Really shows care and the playerbase appreciate it hugely.
Yea man its awesome glad to see more devs jump on the free train. Actually it makes micro transactions alright with me in that sense at least for me. Maps free, modes free charge for taunts, skins and stuff perfect.

I started reading the Kotaku review but it was giving away a lot of specifics so I stopped. No thanks.

I've avoided reviews like the plague unless someone here specifically states that there aren't any spoilers in one. So basically I've only read the Giant Bomb review.

Just realised I haven't even been to that site in like... a year.

i wish one day to understand why she was forced out and how much of it is different because of her absence.

We'll probably never know what really happened, but was most likely just creative differences. There doesn't seem to be any bad blood or resentment between them. ND are still making masterpieces and she's got a dream project on her hands, all worked out for the best in the end.

Are we really sure there's still much of her in there? Guess we'll never know.

Hopefully she talks about the whole ordeal in the future.

What are very likely hold-overs from Amy's work :
- Nate's brother
- Pirate theme/treasure

What isn't :
- that it was meant to be the last Uncharted

They are still her characters, and ND felt she had enough influence on it to be in the credits. I don't think much, if any, of her writing will be in Uncharted 4 though, Druckmann probably just used some of the foundations she set, to tell his own tale.
