Well, Amazon's Customer Support was no help, they just sent a canned response about price matching with no option for further communication.

Anyone else able to verify that the prime discount doesn't get applied until the game ships? My Libertalia Edition hasn't shipped and is still showing full price.

My Libertalia Edition has had the prime discount for a while. When I contacted CS a few months ago they also told me that it didn't apply until shipping though.

hmmm thats weird. if your a prime member you should've seen the discount as soon as you had the ce at the checkout page.

if i were you i would have went with bestbuy. 20% off plus points. 250 points gets you a $5 coupon.

Okay, I guess I'll wait and see what happens. I paid with gift cards so it's no big deal if I don't get the discount, but the extra $40 would be nice. It doesn't show up on the order at the moment though.

I preordered it from Amazon initially because I had $150 in gift cards from them, and at the time Best Buy had yet to confirm if they were even going to stock the Libertalia Edition, theirs went up a day or two after Amazon and GameStop. The Prime preorder discount didn't become a thing until after I'd already placed the order, and still doesn't show on it so I wasn't sure if it was going to apply to existing orders or not.

I did preorder a standard edition from Best Buy though, so I could just pick it up in store and not have to wait for the LE to arrive (especially since it was showing it wasn't going to ship until the 16th until just a few days ago).
 
Okay, evidently they don't offer price adjustments on games that were preordered before the Prime preorder discount was implemented.

I don't think they have that right, and don't see why they won't apply it for you. I ordered zero escape 3 before the prime discount was a thing. My order for that updated to reflect the discount automatically.

Could it be that my prime membership had lapsed when I made the purchase? I was set to renew my annual membership on August 29th, and I let it lapse, reinstating it on the 2nd? Or I don't know, it automatically updated me to the free two day shipping on that order when I reinstated... Hmm.

Man, you're doing just fine. I'm a mess. I've been dreaming about U4 since it was announced. Anxiety is fucking killing me. I NEED IT.

All I've been doing today was just reading some of the spoilers free threads and watching some mindless tv, I don't even feel like playing anything.

That is factually wrong. I received an email them that specifically stated it would be retroactive. Go to your account/orders/details of that order you should see the discount.

Is this 12GB thing just for preloads or MP? Because the 5GB patch that said MP support struck me as weird seeing as to how the beta was 10GB.

12GB is the first part of the play go of the SP campaign. MP will be using SP/pre included assets obviously so it doesn't need to be the full size of the beta which had to include those.
 
I've been playing some RE:UC2 to collect some treasures to pass the time. I started remote playing it so I wouldn't be spoiled by the 60 frames (actually because fam was watching a movie).
 
For those guy stucked at unavailable to purchase at this time (WC-40360-3), you can download it from library then choose uncharted 4.
 
Having a hard time not spoiling myself. All these comments about the visuals.. the urge to look up some screenshots and gameplay is strong.

Haven't seen any thing since the preview with the jeep a while back.

This might be one of the few times I've tried this hard to go spoiler free. The wait until wednesday is going to be hard. assuming i get my copy by then.

I sold my early copy yesterday, but during that ordeal, I got an offer from Craigslist for $50.

You want me to sell you a new early copy of Uncharted 4 for $10 less than what you would pay at launch without tax? Are you serious?

If I was evil I would have texted back, "[MAJOR UNCHARTED 4 SPOILERS]. That's for being cheap"

Yeah, I've been all over my account and the orders and everything and there's nothing about the discount. And I'm just hitting a brick wall with customer service, they're not budging on retroactively applying the discount, they just keep saying they don't do that, and that they'll only apply it to preorders made since the discount became a prime feature. Not really sure what I can do at this point, I'd be more upset if I hadn't paid for it with gift cards, so it's not too big a deal. Just would have been nice.
 
Uncharted reaction is what MS wanted with QB. I still stand by point of MS was jumping ahead of the gun by lifting the embargo on QB 5 days before the game came out
