I haven't read any impressions or read any of the reviews. I wanna go in without expecting anything. It was hard to do, but it feels good now with the game coming out tomorrow. This will be the first Uncharted game I go into pretty blindly!

I was being jokey, but in general, I think that a linear action RPG that takes the player on a directed adventure from locale to locale would be pretty cool.

Right, I was specifically responding to the open world/wide-linear issue. I'm just saying that I think a wide-linear approach could work for an RPG. Whether ND wants to make an RPG is another issue.

I've seen a couple of minutes of the car stuff that was in NX Gamer's (?) performance analysis and maybe 10-15 minutes of aimless driving in.. Well, whatever the area was. Going in pretty blind, I'd say.

e: oh yeah and like 5 minutes of multiplayer, cause it's a major thing for me, possibly even bigger than the SP campaign. Needed to know if it's fun.

We know that there will be one but I want to say that the Nate Collection profile is beyond amazing! The difference between that and standard is insane.

Oh yeah, the quality is fantastic. Uncharted is definitely one of those series where a headset makes the experience that much better.

Yeah, I too have no idea what most of the locations are going to be this time. That's one of the main things I really didn't want to spoil for myself.

Relieved that it sounds like the plot structure isn't the exact same damn thing we've played three times in a row. Uncharted 3 was a massive disappointment in that regard (plus the dude who showed up repeatedly to use their 'plot device blow gun' was the worst).

anyone having problems preloading the game form PS store just go to your library and download the game form there, is the only way that's working at the moment, also the game shows that is only 12 gigs but after a while it will start downloading the whole 40plus gigs

53.5GB downloaded in 7 hours. That's far and away the fastest I've ever downloaded a big retail game on PSN. Clearly the servers understand how important this is.

Why are there still so many people who dont understand the preload thing after 3 years.

I originally preordered way back, when preorders first opened up. I had to respond to 2-3 emails asking if I really wanted to keep it or cancel. Now, in my notifications there is one from 3/3 saying my preorder was cancelled and the money refunded to my account (don't know why) - and to press X to cancel and keep the preorder. I don't know if the money was refunded as I don't recall the original balance (is there a way to check?) but there is no option to rebuy the game anyway - it still shows as purchased and the deluxe version is showing as $20 (I ordered the standard one)

Have you seen UC2's levelling system? The grind was real.

IKR? That's why me and others used some "shortcuts".

It was a terrible, terrible decision to increase the level cap to 80 (~363 million $). It almost felt like an MMORPG grindfest.

My balance is $93 and looking at my transaction history it doesn't show any refund but that does seem high - I bought ratchet and clank for $40 a couple of weeks ago so wouldn't that mean I would have had more than the max balance otherwise?
