Hot damn CNN interviewed some California Bernie or Bust people and they are exactly what you think they'd be.

Don't forget the part where all of the players on the other team are arrested for jaywalking. But even though they're down 14 theres always the chance that the quarterback spikes the ball wrong and it flies out at just the right angle and another player catches the ball and runs past all the defense and gets a touch down and then get the onside kick and then get another touch down to tie it and then go into overtime and score more points to WIN

i find something very wrong with articles like this and people who keep supporting it.
Yes, she is very likely going to cinch the last actual delegates she needs before the convention. Yes the super delegates will likely not change. But it has not happened yet!
The reason people keep saying it's rigged in her favor is that the whole thing looks like it's rigged in her favor. Pledged SD's before the first caucus and articles like this just reinforce that idea.
Disclaimer: I do support Bernie, but I have absolutely no issue with Clinton.
AP calling it now is like an NFL announcer calling the game with 30 seconds left to go, because all the winning team needs to do isspike the balltake a knee.
White?Deluded?

White?
Those of us who followed 2008 know that when Clinton was on the other side of this that Obama was called the presumptive nominee even though Supers hadn't voted and put him over the top yet.i find something very wrong with articles like this and people who keep supporting it.

AP is stupid. Bernie's statement is right, super delegate votes are not locked in and pledged delegates have yet to put Hillary over the top. It's just dumb to make a call prior to tomorrow's primaries.
She is going to be the nominee, but let the process play out.

Also LOL at this not being on /r/politics, aside from the mod post.
Nope. SDs dont vote till July. Mainstream media continues to liquid shit the bed with inaccuracies.
Was the system rigged in Obama's favor in 2008?

AP called the nomination for Obama June 3rd, 2008, on the basis of his superdelegates. Press called the nomination for Kerry in 2004 when Edwards dropped out, 1000 delegates before he had enough to win. Bookies paid out on Obama's win over McCain several days before the election. It's OK, Megyn Kelly doesn't need to visit the decision desk to assuage Karl Rove's anxiety.

I said it "looks like" not that it is, I do not buy into the theory that it is actually rigged.
And I don't recall the exact reporting for Obama so I don't have an opnion on that. ( I was dealing with pretty bad marriage at that time so my memory of his nomination is a fuzz of drugs, booze and fighting)
Well, looks like I'm not voting Democrat then.
This is my guess. Baby's first election, so cute.

I do wonder if r/politics is going to ease up on all the "Hillary is the devil" stuff now that Bernie's toast.
I mostly saw young women.
Doesn't everybody vote in July? Hence presumptive. This is a really silly distinction to make; candidates have always been called with supers included.Nope. SDs dont vote till July. Mainstream media continues to liquid shit the bed with inaccuracies.

REMINDER
They will do it as they have always done it. Count the Supers and call the nominee when it becomes clear.

Despite what Bernies campaign would have you believe. Its always been done this way. It was never going to be handled differently just because it hurts Bernies feelings. This is how the elections work and have worked and will continue to work.

After they made the sticky they deleted all the other ones. They do that to prevent spam, although it's only selectively enforced, coincidentally on Hillary news. Bernie news can get 10 different news sources on the front page saying exactly the same thing.
I was trying to find out when the AP called it for 2008, and it looks like it was in the afternoon on the day of the CA (and other states) primary. You really think calling it a day before the primary is acceptable?AP called the nomination for Obama June 3rd, 2008, on the basis of his superdelegates. It's possible the team gets indicted after the fact for filling the football with emails.
I guess there's no such thing as a President-elect either until the electors cast their vote in December. Someone should have told McCain and Romney so they could throw a hissy fit for a couple weeks.
Maybe that's an argument Trump will use when he loses in November.
It's Gamer Gate (politics edition)Yeah at a certain point the extra hoops she's being made to jump through are a bit...troubling.
Did you not understand the meaning of me saying 'i can see how he feels that's not a luxury he enjoys?' It was me eluding to him being dead and grasping for dear life to keep this last (and only) chance alive. You think Bernie was thinking about running in 2024 as an 82 year old man? Seriously? This is quite literally 2016 or bust for his presidential aspirations.
I think he should concede as soon as the last primary closes, certainly, but there is no need for him to drop out now.
