So I finally got around to watching this as I recently bought the actual game and had heard that Nintendo had produced this short.... and

...this is why is so infuriating to be a lifelong Nintendo fan sometimes :(

The short PERFECTLY encapsulates EVERYTHING that makes Nintendo... well, muthafucking Nintendo!
It's charming, colorful, well produced, acted, staged, and yet wonderfully simple. The closest thing I could compare it to was the other similar short (or series of) that they had produced for Kid Icarus: Uprising

You know the saddest part about it all though? The video has less than a million views at this point and it's been up since April 20th or so T___T

Nintendo, plz

A Fox in Space rivals it in popularity. I preferred that to this animated short.

Edit: Not to say the short was bad; I'd enjoy seeing more like it with more Nintendo properties, though I'd prefer them to be more character driven.

It's pretty fucking perfect, that's true.

In a perfect world, this and the official short would each continue on a series, coexisting.

And with more SF games too, I guess

The battle begin's views are divided up by different languages and was live streamed, btw.
If you combine NA and JPN'a views it's like 1.3 million. Still pretty low, but hey
And yeah, it's really good.
Miyamoto worked on it as well as the pikmin shorts which are also excellent and I think it bodes well for their movie efforts

So yeah, where can I read about these movies they're doing?
