I did my best.

Oh my it still is so good.

Collectibles are great! They just need to be implemented in an interesting way, like RDR's treasure maps or Black Flag's treasure maps and diving bells.

LoZ games are so puzzle-based that my hope is that most collectibles in this new Zelda game are based on sussing out puzzles to find the collectibles...so I guess really what I'm trying to say is that I want treasure maps in this new Zelda, too. Like Phantom Hourglass, actually, for that matter.

So what you are saying is.. Link is gonna be working for the Sheikah?
Link is going to stalk targets by using stealth and parkour and kill them with a hidden master sword blade in his sleeve. There will also be a shitty metanarrative of a modern Link reliving the memories of his ancestors to stop the same evil in the present day.

Art looks great. I wonder if tomorrow at the Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert, will they be showing off any new footage. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the night, since the one in 2011 was great.

The problem with Ubi towers is that they reveal portions of the map filled with tons (i mean, TONS, literally too many) objectives and "mini-quests" that look and play the same, and you basically do that for the entire game. Do we expect Zelda to do this? Personally, i don't. It just doesn't make sense.

Isn't more obvious, and in line with the series, that they'll use the towers as "checkpoints", from where you restart when you die or load a save, and at the same time, for fast travel? In OOT, when you load the game, you start either from the Kokiri Forest or from the Temple of Time. But in such a huge world you can't have just two locations, so you go to the "towers of the elders" or whatever those things are called and you unlock a "checkpoint on the map", similarly to what happens in Xenoblade with the points of interest. I can even see them working a bit like the probes from X, in the sense of using the towers to reveal some stuff on the map (e.g. the Tyrants in X, here you reveal a giant boss or whatever), but why would Nintendo fill the map with useless subquests like skin the animal and kill the templar dude?

I was looking forward to some sort of leak from the new Zelda and it delivered big time.

IT. LOOKS. SO. FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

Can't believe a piece of artwork has me more hyped than anything we have seen leaked or has been revealed for E3 so far. The magic of Zelda.

Nope! Lets dub it bad already while we got time and no factual information! We already know!

It does go both ways too, you have people proclaiming the game to be "Game of all time" and being somewhat unreasonable at the same time in this thread.

I think we should turn to elements of recent Zeldas and Zelda 1 to look to the design of this game.
