Should probably hold on to it for now.

SHOULDERS FUCKING CONFIRMED.It's a shoulder.
Look at the position of Link's arm and shoulder. It's clearly an edit, if not a different picture.
If she was in "disguise", maybe.Would Nintendo really show off a female Link on a lanyard given out days before the unveiling?

So if female Link does happen, will male Zelda happen too? The Legend of Zeldbro?
I don't see it.
Y'all are starting to scare me with your hopes and dreams of a Female Link. Should we start a grievance/counselling group for when Nintendo confirms Link is only male?
Male Zelda will be voiced by Andy Dick.So if female Link does happen, will male Zelda happen too? The Legend of Zeldbro?
I don't see it.
They also seem to be forgetting how much Japan enjoys androgyny in it's male characters.
Ohhhhhhhh FUCK. YES.
It's confirmed. That's a tit, and there's no way they'd just show one side with his hood on and his hood not on.
FUCK YES!
INTO MY VEINS!!!!!
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA
100% ready to be disappointed
Man I thought that was a cropped tunic and it was like a midriff revealing a body suit which would've been such a cool design
This has happened to me twice now. The first reveal and now. Link bro why you basically genderless
There is no female Link
There is no male Link

Nothing is confirmation unless it's from Nintendo.I still don't see what's so exciting about it. Not looking forward to forced gender-neutral dialog since that annoys me in games. :/
Honestly, "she" looks more feminine due to the hood, but the facial structure differences prove that we're not looking at two of the same person. So yes, this is confirmation.

Androgyny is a tricky thing as seen in this thread and others about the art. The hood hides certain masculine features so many perceive that Link to be a woman instead. Such as the eyebrows. Link's eyebrows are always thick and masculine but the hood covers that up and makes them look slender and more feminine. The hood also casts a shadow on his face and the light and shadow at play gives off softer features. The angle of the face is also doing things as well, we're not seeing the broad side of Link's face so it's messing with peoples perception.
Overall, I don't believe they'd reveal female Link in a lanyard or the current official art. She would be in a trailer followed by more official art and press releases and even shown off in Treehouse Live.
Am I missing something? The lanyard looks like the exact same link on both sides just one with a hood up. The hair on the side is clearly the sideburns we see in the left imagine.

They look the same.
This thread is crazy. Ya'll are overthinking this to an insane degree. Its just different art of Link, there are no secret subtle differences.
You are seeing what you want to see.

Eyes, noses, and hair are all a bit different.
Why not just a gender/race neutral Link?
With all these H.R. Lovecraft inspired games coming out I wouldn't be surprised or shocked if Nintendo decided to that.

We need less gender identification experts and more vague tweets saying what those that have played the game think of it.
What kind of temples though??@Gamepressdude
Just played a session of Zelda U. All I can say is that it'll be a game with temples
Eyes, noses, and hair are all a bit different.
thinking about the art, it reminded me of ocarina of time 3d hyrule field art:
