Fixing the PC version would require rewriting the netcode, something that is undoubtedly in Ubi's Too Hard Basket. Outside of DLC, post-release support has never been Ubi's strong suit. Like, Far Cry 4 has one broken point of interest and you can only unlock it by the sheer dumb luck that a level designer didn't completely "seal" a certain underground bunker entrance.
