That was an amazing conference! There was like two minutes of talking tops, the rest was just back-to-back trailers. I'm interested in at least half of the games they showed, unlike last year.
LOL I am equally indifferent. Getting VR segments in proven big sellers could be a good idea though. RE7 is the only start to finish AAA VR games that I can think of at this point, besides the Bethesda stuff getting patches.Good conference, although I have to say I feel worse about VR than I did before.
Gravity Rush 2 was in a montage...The more I dwell on it the more disappointing it is
No DMC5
No Gravity Rush
No Ace Combat
God of war went from action game to a Last of Us style game
Resident Evil 7 is first person? Hopefully not I'll try the demo and confirm.
MW remastered still not a stand alone
No Persona
Best part was FF VR and Ill always give Kojima the benefit of the doubt even though the trailer sucked.
Honestly...
Last year was probably more seismic.
But this E3, for Sony, was literally non stop.
That's how you do a conference. Basically Shawn Layden talked a little. Andrew House talked a little bit. Besides that it was nothing but games
Really fucking impressed.
....Or people just like and dislike different games.
To be fair, MS literally had their entire show leakedBest conference by far.
They were the only ones bringing big suprises on stage.
It was easily the best, but that's more a testament to how awful the rest were. I wasn't really that surprised by anything but Kojima and Death Stranded. Vita on suicide watch, JRPGs shown the door.
Atleast it wasn't just skylanders...that would have been brutal.
Holy shit some people in here saying this wasn't good?
9.5/10 conference at the LEAST
I have more PS4 games than XB1 games. My PS4 is currently on and I'm grabbing the RE7 title.
But go ahead and avatar quote me because I like Gears of War.
Idiot.
The only game I could see myself shelling out 60 bucks was Horizon.
Microsoft won.
How so?
Hardware?
What good is the hardware without the software?
Sony imho saved this really boring and dull E3 by showing off great kick ass exclusives.
Fantastic looking games, but very forward thinking. When will we play any of this stuff?

Um...
6.5/10
- I 100% do not think the way they're going with God of War is a good idea. Going from a hack-and-slash to an over-the-shoulder action is just...man, that just doesn't work for me
- I can't imagine people wanted that out of Crash
- VR stuff in general was yawn
- Spider-Man looks pretty good, but I'm kinda sour on Spider-Man
- Horizon looked good, but I'm cautious over how it plays. It looked extremely weighty
- No indies
- No Vita (again)
- I need more on RE7
- Terrible ending. Just...terrible.
