What are you most excited for?

That was an amazing conference! There was like two minutes of talking tops, the rest was just back-to-back trailers. I'm interested in at least half of the games they showed, unlike last year.

Yeah, double dipping on showing a game again at the end was odd. I think a Spiderman gameplay demo would have been the correct send off. But they've got another year until that movie comes out, so maybe it was not ready. Really strong showing overall.

Good conference, although I have to say I feel worse about VR than I did before.
LOL I am equally indifferent. Getting VR segments in proven big sellers could be a good idea though. RE7 is the only start to finish AAA VR games that I can think of at this point, besides the Bethesda stuff getting patches.

The more I dwell on it the more disappointing it is

No DMC5
No Gravity Rush
No Ace Combat
God of war went from action game to a Last of Us style game
Resident Evil 7 is first person? Hopefully not I'll try the demo and confirm.
MW remastered still not a stand alone
No Persona

Best part was FF VR and Ill always give Kojima the benefit of the doubt even though the trailer sucked.
Gravity Rush 2 was in a montage...

I don’t understand what you are talking about with those 2 games though...Why would Gravity Rush or Ace combat need a big 2-5 minute trailer/demo, they are already announced, as well as Persona who has like 3 trailers already and gameplay demos up.

They have to show the new stuff. For me, I just wanted more Japanese stuff. Would have like to see DMC along with RE7, but God of War went very left field in a good way, I like what they are doing with the franchise, feels completely fresh again.

It was easy to top, but Sony once again has the best conference.

Sony managed to sell me on VR in one conference - not bad.

Also somehow they made Call of Duty look interesting - also not bad.

Pretty much everything shown in this conference I want - very not bad.

A+ conference.

Honestly...

Last year was probably more seismic.

But this E3, for Sony, was literally non stop.

That's how you do a conference. Basically Shawn Layden talked a little. Andrew House talked a little bit. Besides that it was nothing but games

Really fucking impressed.

Yes, I agree. Filled with games, and very little of awkward, middle-aged men telling us about shit. They showed GAMES.

There was a lot of new stuff, and everything looked great. The only low point for me was the Crash>Lego stuff. But everything else had me on the edge of my seat.

Was OK, oddly enough I'm most interested in the Spiderman game.

That Days Gone game looks horrible based on what they showed, they needed to uh... show a lot less of it.

That was easily my favorite Sony conference....ever.

The only thing it didn't have was a new FROM Software game. But I'm a patient man, it'll come soon enough!

I honestly can't decipher between the trolls and the serious posts...

That conference was freaking incredible. One of the best ever. 10/10. Please, Sony...keep this pacing and format for every single E3.

Wow, kind of underwhelmed. Not feeling the new God of War and too much VR for me. Still waiting for actual gameplay from the new Hideo Kojima game. I will say this, that exclusive Spiderman game from Insomniac looks great. Don't know what that says about Sony, that there best announcement was a Spiderman game. I do think Sony will not skip Gamescom this year. I hope we hear about the Neo there.

Spider-Man looked incredible the rest I am just not that into. So far this e3 has been dominated for me by Spider-Man, Xbox Scorpio, South Park, and Forza horizons 3.

solid 8.0/10

Nothing mind blowing like last year. Almost every Sony title peaks my curiosity moreso than it wants me to buy it. More "really interesting takes" on certain franchises/genres" than revolutionary things, but all seemed decent at the very least. REAALLLY appreciate the pacing and the fact that it was pretty much game after game.

It was easily the best, but that's more a testament to how awful the rest were. I wasn't really that surprised by anything but Kojima and Death Stranded. Vita on suicide watch, JRPGs shown the door.

This.

It was a good conference. Well paced, good games, no fluff. But it only looks so good because everyone else blew.

Atleast it wasn't just skylanders...that would have been brutal.

Very true, but it's hard for me to get excited about remasters of the first three games. How do you even remaster a PS1 game in the first place?! I assume they're getting the same treatment Square Enix gave to FFVII when it ported it over to the PS4. If that's the case then that's not much to get excited about.

Holy shit some people in here saying this wasn't good?

9.5/10 conference at the LEAST

It's almost as if enjoyment if these conferences is highly subjective. I thought it was decent, but not amazing. Some cool games but plenty I'm indifferent to. If say 6 or 7 out of 10.

Best Sony conference I have seen in terms of pacing.
It had some great gameplay in the beginning.
Again, I always feel Sony starts very strong, but the end is not as good.
It didn't have much games that I really wanted, but the conference itself was good.

Fantastic looking games, but very forward thinking. When will we play any of this stuff?

We are getting 4-5 high quality VR games (meaning they look like they have a good budget) and more PSVR additions for other franchises.

Um...

6.5/10

- I 100% do not think the way they're going with God of War is a good idea. Going from a hack-and-slash to an over-the-shoulder action is just...man, that just doesn't work for me
- I can't imagine people wanted that out of Crash
- VR stuff in general was yawn
- Spider-Man looks pretty good, but I'm kinda sour on Spider-Man
- Horizon looked good, but I'm cautious over how it plays. It looked extremely weighty
- No indies
- No Vita (again)
- I need more on RE7
- Terrible ending. Just...terrible.

People don't realize that Crash wasn't actually a great game, and Sony are doing this just to shut them up.

So did I walk out of the room (I did a couple times) and/or just miss Shenmue 3 completely???

What an absolute waste of my time if there was no Shenmue 3 at all...I didn't see it, so I guess not? Sucks

4/10 from me....and that's 2 points for Horizon and 2 points for God of War (I enjoy some GoW)

Nearly no interest in anything else (that wasn't cross platform).

They did the one thing that they had to do, which was show a date for The Last Guardian. Everything else was just hype after hype. If you can make COD look new and original, that has to be praised. This was a great conference. Everyone else should look to Sony as the bastion for a great conference.

Solid, but nowhere near great. Horizon was by far the most interesting to me. The group of VR "experiences" was a whole lot of nothing. God of War is interesting in that at least they are going in a different direction, but it sure looks a lot like Tomb Raider. Days Gone did absolutely nothing for me.

I hope more conferences from now on have this pacing. 9/10 conference. Wish they included more third party and ended on a stronger note but other than that I thought it was great.
