Would be hilarious if he got himself ejected in the process.

Don't see that happening though.

The only team that really got in his head was the Thunder and that was because Adams and company undressed and exposed him repeatedly. Lebron won't get in his head again.

If I was a Warriors fan I would be more worried about Green getting in his own head and trying to do too much. Like I said he has to keep his composure.

Also kind of a shit series for Steph.
This. Definitely this. Draymond's one of those guys that sometimes plays with a bit too much passion and overextends himself.

It wasn't LeBron that got in Draymond's head though. It's actually the other way around as Dray got the better of those exchanges and even further clowned LeBron with the blowing in hand thing. LeBron was breaking down in the closing minutes of game 4.

It's the league that stepped in and gave LeBron the upper hand after his passive-aggressive dry snitching.

I thought it was desperation by Lebron because he knew it was his best chance to get back in the series.

And as much of a bitch move as it was, it clearly worked.

Green put himself in this position with all the flagrants before this.

Yep.

So many people were saying that Iggy is the Lebron stopper, and that it didn't matter that Green was out. Now, a bunch of people are saying who cares about Lebron's effort tonight, there was no Green defending him. lol

Honestly man if lebron goes into attack mode like he did today, lebron would still go off. The times green guarded lebron, he just went around him with ease. Iggy still is their best bet on him.

A couple of thoughts...

Barnes... smh. Why wasn't he taken out the game sooner? He shouldn't have even played the 4th Qtr. Max Barnes was Trash Barnes. Please stop shooting, your moment passed... you missed it again.
Klay!! Get open. someone feed this man the ball.
Curry, if you ain't gonna get 3's then get assist. just NOT TO BARNES.
and get some new moves. you've become predictable with the behind the back side dribble fake drive step back shoot routine. I know you only need a split second to get the shot off, but it's still become predictable.
Speights... why do you look so lost? please find your way back to the bench.

Kyrie. O.M.G. you are killing us man. He found his aimbot and hasn't missed shit since. Amazing performance tonight.
LeBron. Got his jumper back. and together they are putting on an Phenomenal performance.
Love. LOL.

Good thing Dray is back for the next game. Hope he learned to not even flinch in the direction of someone's balls. Hate to see GSW miss an opportunity to close one at home and party in the Bay, but I really don't want this to go to game 7 to get the opportunity again.
and poor Bogut... he was already barely standing as it was. His season is done, unless he can somehow play with a mechanical brace or something.

The Fix was in, and the Warriors just couldn't overcome all-time performances by Lebron and Kyrie w/o the defensive help of Draymond. I doubt game 6 looks anything like game 5, but alot more like game 2. I think we just saw the best the Cav's have to offer, and they didn't win by that much while we were missing an important part of why they weren't able to put up a performance like that before.

He went into attack mode before tonight. But with green and Iggy he had no room to get momentum and would often get rejected or have the ball stripped from him when he went at the rim. Tonight he had space because the Warriors were not perfect in their rotations and defensive movement and Lebron took those inches and feet of space and rammed it down their throats.

The one thing he will still have is space to shoot 3s. If he can keep making those (and GS will give those to him all game) he might be able to soften the D.

Are you taking about game 4? Cause all I saw was lebron forcing the pass multiple times.

Anyway if you are talking about green guarding lebron one on one then I say that's an advantage to lebron. If you mean iggy guarding him in the perimeter with draymond helping then you have a point.

1-4.

He looked old as fuck in the paint because he had no space to operate and was afraid to take the wide open 3s.

Tonight was a freeway in comparison on defense.

I don't see that happening again. Really the guy who stepped up was Kyrie because he has had these shots all series but was not making them. If he can keep this up we have a series.

I don't understand. What does 1-4 mean? Because from what I see he can get to the paint whenever he wanted. And yes Kyrie was big.

Disgusting. The NBA manages to extend the series further to suck more money out of the world. I fucking hate the way they have managed the entire postseason. But more so, that every move they make, turns in their favor in the end. Makes me want to hurl.

Games 1-4 and Lebron looked bad in all of them trying to finish in the paint.

I already explained my point otherwise though. He doesn't get any space when Green and Iggy and on the court. After 4 games it is safe to say that isn't going to change. No matter how unusual a sight it is for Lebron fans.

The House always wins.

I just really hope their "meddling" and lack of enforcement of "fair and balanced" calls doesn't alter the end result when all is said and done.
We all know this should have been done in 5.

A lot is going to be said about draymond not being present but warriors missed a fuck ton of good looks and open buckets particularly in the 4th

Even with 5 minutes left they were down by 8 and a half way decent run could have easily kept them in it. They just didn't deliver

Even with Kyrie and lebrons historic performance, warriors had their opportunities that they just didn't capitalize on.

Conspiracy thinking - Draymond wasnt supsended in the Thunder series so that the Warriors could win, but was suspended in the Cavs series so that the series could be extended.

Non-Conspiracy thinking - Draymond's fouls in the thunder series did not warrant a flagrant-suspension while Cavs foul did. Or League went a bit lenient on Draymond to prevent too much interference, but Draymond didn't listen to the hints and clues and the league finally had to suspend him due to rules.

First of all I'm not exactly a lebron fan. He can get fucked for all I care.

Second, I'm just stating what I saw the first few games as a neutral fan. Lebron is averaging 25 ppg and most of those points are at the paint and his Fg% ain't that bad as well.

I actually have a question regarding post game call changes.

1) Can they only review and upgrade calls that were made? or can they review anything and make a call on it post game?

and the only reason I ask this is because the upgraded call that got Draymond suspended wasn't even a whistle on the throwdown, stepover, swipe "bitch" incident, as the call was actually on the tangled rebound afterwards.

Majority of NBA employees are probably salaried workers. Doesn't really matter how long a series goes.

He went into attack mode before tonight.

Really only Game 3 (and the entire team played well and was aggressive from the opening tip that night). The difference between LeBron tonight and LeBron Games 1-2, 4 is that LeBron was actually consistently hitting jump shots early in the first half, the same ones he was being given and either bricked or passed out of earlier in the series. Dray and Iggy weren't really contesting those earlier in the series because they're smart defenders. LeBron with a functioning jump shot is still basically unguardable because it opens up the paint. He was finishing at the rim against 1 guy tonight, not 2 or 3. The first couple possessions, before he established a perimeter game, he was getting stuffed in the paint.

I now realize that the Stanley Cup this year oddly resembles the NBA Finals. Penguins also lost game 5 while looking much better for most of the series. Curry play style given the obvious differences between the sports also remind me a bit of Crosby for whatever reason.

Fuck the Steelers though.

Why are people giving fans shit for leaving early? Traffic can get pretty bad...stay to watch your team lose for the sake of it...just so you can waste an extra 30 mins in traffic makes sense now?

I was at Oracle Arena for Warriors vs Thunder in the regular season in March, and it took me 45-50 minutes to get out the parking lot after the game ended.

Yeah, screw that lol.

Dray is so key to this GSW team, on both sides of the ball. So many of my friends, family, and strangers kept saying Dubs would be fired up and still win without Dray. I just kept saying, "I hope so," while keeping my doubt to myself instead of being a Debbie downer. LeBron and the Cavs knew this was their best chance to steal a game at Oracle. LeBron was getting to the rim at will which gave him confidence to also knock down his jumpers. Both he and Kyrie were in a groove against the Drayless GSW defense. People also saying Iggy ain't shit without Draymond, well duh? He's still good, but it's about TEAM defense over individual lockdown defenders. Iggy is a master of funneling guys toward the help defense. Can't really do that without the help.

On the other side, GSW couldn't stop anything which also ruined their offensive rhythm, so they were even missing wide open shots. Mental blocks are real.

Just as LeBron heard it from the fans tonight, I'm sure Cleveland is gonna give it to Dray next game. Gonna be awkward though if GSW win and Dray gets FMVP.

These last two Finals are a lot like Bulls-Jazz Finals if you think about it. All time great team against a championship starved city, the later outperforming expectations the first series and underperforming the second series through 4 games before forcing Game 6 on the road. All we need now is a go ahead push off and long jumper with 5 seconds left by Curry in Game 6.

That moment when you realize you lived through years of his flopping on your team but HATE it when playing against him hahaha
Andy used to be one of my most hated players because of his flopping. And now I love him. Lol. It definitely opens your eyes to the reality of bias when you experience it from both sides. Other teams' fans must reeaally hate Dray, because even as a GSW fan, I can easily see how much I'd hate him on another team. Lol.

why are people hating on Love?

dude finished with like +15, why does he need to show when you have LBJ and Irving going for 80+?

I can have a high positive +/- even without doing anything if my other 4 teammates outdo the other squad by a large margin. That stat is not directly reflective of individual contribution. He may have not scored because his other 2 teammates handled it well by themselves and he attempted less, but for a guy that is highly recognized for his rebounding to only get 3 rebounds, all defensive, is just abysmal. Granted, his other teammates did a terrific job at that department, but when you see him get beat by the Warriors on the boards for offensive rebounds, it looks really bad.

It's not entirely his fault, but he's been really bad this series. He is never going to contribute to this Cavs team winning a championship, offensively or defensively. Time to trade him without wasting his prime in an untenable situation.
