Such a tight paced conference. Props to the live score/ orchestra. I don't know about you guys but IMO the intro/ overture piece before God of War unveiling was awesome.

Agreed, that majestic musical opening leading into the Kratos reveal was freaking epic... EPIC!!!

Sony: 8/10 - God of War taking a new direction. Horizon looked great as always. Days Gone looks cool... but I'm feeling the zombie fatigue. I may play it eventually. Trailers for Detroit and Spiderman looked amazing. Hoping we'll finally get another good Spiderman game. Kojima game trailer was super weird. Resident Evil 7 was pretty surprising. That Mars VR game actually looks fun as well. Conference ended abruptly, like there was going to be something else (as in the Neo).

Xbox: 7/10 All of their games coming to PC is the biggest thing for me, otherwise I wouldn't care nearly as much. Gears looks like Gears which is great to me. We Happy Few looked super interesting. Forza looked amazing. Scalebound looked kind of weak in that demo, but it's Platinum so I have hope. The hardware announcements are cool, but they don't mean anything to me since I don't plan on getting an Xbox.

Ubisoft: 7/10. South Park, For Honor, Watch_Dogs 2, and Steep all look good.

EA: lol. Didn't even watch

That was awful.

I don't give a shit about VR
They've ruined God of War.
They'vre ruined Resident Evil (again)...first person, lmao.
Crash is just a remaster (Activision, lol. I don't trust them at all)

The only good thing was Spiderman by Insomniac.

Haven't had a chance to watch the presentation yet. Was PSVR well represented? Only thing I've seen so far is resident evil which is something

So guys....
Given all the rumors and what we saw at Sony's conference, what do you think we'll see or hear tomorrow and more importantly what will appear from Sony at TGS outside of Persona 5?

I'm happy. Psvr is an awesome investment for me. GoW reboot is fantastic. Horizon is simply amazing. Spidey just blew my socks off. TLG had me almost shed a tear.

Even days gone, while a rough showing, looks technically astounding.

Only thing I really didn't care for was the crash Remaster and how it got side swiped by Skylanders .

Also games like Abzu, and Bound look absolutely stunning.

On a personal level, meaning shear number of games that appeal to me, this was probably my favorite E3 press conference ever. The first party barrage at the beginning was fantastic and I legitimately want to play all of them. Spider-Man looks amazing and Call of Duty has never looked more interesting.

Loved it!

Eesh. Yeah. It would have been nice for them to close off the conference but no way was that happening. Nice of R* to be extra sensitive to the tragedy that just happened though, if true.

Actually when you think about..most of everything shown at Sony was either fighting fantasy monsters, the undead, super soldiers/sci fi or androids.

Why is Sony talking to us about Activision Crash? Do they not know no one gives a shit about a Crash game unless it's out of their hands. They've done an awful job since they took over during the PS2 era. Annoying troll job from Sony to tell us it's remastered. Give me a break.

The rest were great though. Where were the indies though, only thing missing.

Horizon Zero Dawn is the game of the whole E3 show so far for me. Simply amazing. Guerrilla delivered. Not much else to say.

Lots of games that are still too far ahead as usual but The Last Guardian finally got a release date and is obviously a day 1 purchase.

Not feeling the Days Gone game at all even though the trailer probably showed a big set piece action scene. Looked great though.

Too much VR talk.

God of War looked amazing.

All in all a great show.

No talk what so ever about a slim or Neo console felt a bit weird though. And Playstation as a platform looks like it's becoming quite locked up in comparison to Xbox, exclusives everywhere, their own VR set, and no cross platform talk. Dangerously close to what is happening at Nintendo. They better take good care of the third party relations because Xbox combined with PC will be a gigantic platform going forward now that the walls go down. But they're easily up there with Nintendo when it comes to the quality of the first party games so they'll probably do fine either way, I mean what gamer will choose to ignore their games when they have that quality? The PCXbox+Playstation combo will be a popular combo for sure.

After watching their conference for 3 years straight I feel like this was my favorite.

Literally game after game after game with only about 3 stops in between where they talked for no less than 5 mins it felt like.

Only way this will happen is if gamers accept UWP and judging by the Tomb Raider split between Steam and the Windows store version, they dont.

I thought it was a great showcase of games that I have no interest in playing. Really bummed hat they didn't have an indie section of the conference

I was interested in virtually everything they showed off, which is incredibly rare for me.

I did miss the indies though. I wonder why they gave them the cold shoulder this year.

Just finished watching the conference (spoiler free). Really impressed with it, the games looked great. Orchestra was interesting choice. Overall I enjoyed it.

That's what PS Experience in December is for

So I just woke up and it looks like there are no interesting announcements this year, at least for me. Then again, they gave it all last year and it was doubtful from the start they could reach that again just a year after that.

-RE7
-Batman VR
-Star Wars VR
-Final Fanatsy XV VR

The crowd was definitely not feeling that FFXV VR trailer but everything else that they showed looked stellar.

Actually when you think about..most of everything shown at Sony was either fighting fantasy monsters, the undead, super soldiers/sci fi or androids.

Huh. That is true. I doubt that Sony reworked all their game demos/showings to ensure that they didn't have a mass shooting scene in their conference (it might have just coincidentally worked out that way for them) but it is pretty refreshing to see a move away from that nonetheless.

It also makes sense. The demo and ending felt totally weird and off and a bish vetted insider said Red Dead would be at Sony's show.

The rumor is Rockstar wanted Sony to start the conference a few hours later so they could recut another trailer.

Makes me wonder if this will damage their relationship.

Thank you for that playlist ! It really made things easier to find. Also what did the voucher exactly give you ? Are there any list of what it comes with ?
Thanks! I'm trying to find out what other things it came with. I already redeemed mine but all it said was the gifts would be sent over the next few months. Should have taken a picture of the screen when I was up.

That is awesome. I think the games will turn out well, I just don't seem to car for third person cinematic games or VR so it means for me. :)

Surprised there was no hardware talk to be honest. But might have been the smartest move yet.

Flip things around and they might come out on top of Scorpio. Who knows.

I actually also missed Adam, seems this year only the big cheeses were allowed on stage.

That Layden and House each made their long storys short was a good thing, though. Keep sales talk to NeoGAF sales threads.

I give it a 9/10, because the 10 is now a decicated number for last years conference and will never be graded ever again.

Apparently there's some "insider" word going round that Red Dead was actually going to close the show but it got cut because of the Orlando shootings, something to do with some footage in the trailer showing a outlaw walking into a bar and shooting up the place?

For that reason they had to cut it and Rockstar didn't have another edit of the trailer and asked Sony for an extension on the conference? They couldn't do it and so the Days Gone demo was put on the end when it was supposed to follow the announcement trailer earlier on.

Makes sense if true.

Doubtful. It'll just premiere in the next few days. To be fair, this was something that no one could've anticipated, and it happened Sunday. Barely any time to react to it. Especially if the scene they are mentioning that occurred in this trailer really is what they say it is.

That's a real bum if true though. When will they show it next then? PSX?

I doubt it. They can hardly blame Sony for not being able to move the conference time.

Maybe just re-cut a trailer and debut it tomorrow? It would be huge enough to drown out all of the noise of E3.

I suppose they could also just sit on it for about a month.

I was shocked that the next Destiny expansion wasn't given any stage time, I know a lot of people hate seeing it on stage, but I figure it's a big draw for these things.

(unless I missed it)

The walls hasn't even gone down yet. Have some faith, the UWP complaining will go away, look at the talk about going with PC+PS4, if you have a PC then it's the natural choice to start playing Xbox games there when console upgrades becomes the norm, and if you're a console owner your Xbox games will be waiting for you on your future PC. The future is quite promising if you're looking at it the right way.

I don't know why anyone is giving MS browny points for having games coming out soon. Besides fall releases loke FH3 and DR3 all of their other games have been announced at prior E3s and some with CG trailers. Horizon will have had only 2 e3 showings and their other games will likely be the same. The only game that is really far off is kojimas game.

Anyways they still have GTS, GR2, and TLG for later this year.

Glad it wasn't. It would of ruined the whole conference, or the mood of the conference. This was easily one of the best ones that Sony has ever done. Top 3.

The Destiny Expansion was not originally meant to even exist; this expansion was decided upon late last year when a few factors (which I won't divulge) came to light. Destiny 2 was slated for this year & was delayed to next. Everything included in the expansion was revealed in last week's Destiny stream that Bungie threw.

There is just no reason to have it at a press conference. But you can sure as shit be sure it'll be there next year with Destiny 2. And it's going to look GLORIOUS ;)

Stop being so negative. Games is what we want 3 years post launch, not the announcement of a really powerful console with no boundaries that has boundaries and is out in 2018!

It just seems a little awkward for them.

I'm sure the re-cut will be done by tomorrow, so that's not an issue. But how do you do get it out? Do you just drop it as a bombshell from the R* Twitter account? I mean, I guess that would work in terms of a viral spread, but it is a little strange. Is there a deal with Sony, potentially with money involved, that means Sony has to share the trailer? Would Sony even want to show it that way without the stage pageantry?

Do we have any rumors about any demo stations? Or was that totally off the table and it was only a teaser?

Because like you said, they could sit on it for a month, but even if you do that, you're still left wondering when to show it.

The read dead rumor really seems far fetched.

The whole asking the conference to be delayed seems like bullshit, Rockstar would have known that Sony wouldn't move their entire conference for one game, and they probably don't really care. Red dead will get huge views no matter where and when it plays.

*ring ring ring *

Nintendo: hello?

Rockstar: I have a proposition for you

OMG I just finished watching the conference ( yeah yeah I was at work ) . Damn Sony I knew it will blow the E3 with these games , best E3 ever for Sony
