EA conference was Top Cringe.

...Yeah, that weird philosophical shit out of nowhere added no value to the EA conference except for some hollow sense of ~so deep~.

Oh yeah, kudos to Sony for not using No Man's Sky as padding for the third year in a row this time.
It's finally coming out. No more 15 minute demos that tell us nothing new just to extend a conference by 15 minutes.

Was it Ghost Recon or Sea of Thieves were the people in the scarecam, and one of them said: "nom nom". I cringe so hard when people above the age of 7 say that.

Yeah, this is the one that immediately came to mind.
The PC gaming e3 show had a couple of weird moments this year, but it didn't come close to topping the mountain dew wine glass from last year.
If she had been wearing a bikini top, I could maybe understand your "irritation" a bit more, but she was wearing a t-shirt that revealed absolutely nothing. To say they were "in your face" is absurd. Grow up.
This post is now the cringiest moment of E3 2016. Jesus, dude...

Just give John Carmack a mic and let him speak for a couple hours. But yeah, his inclusion in the Microsoft show was a little cringey. "I'll be right here in my lab"
I would also like to say that the Crash Bandicoot reveal was a bit of a low for Sony. It started out good with Nu Trenton (or whoever) was walking on stage while the Crash theme was being played by the orchestra. That had the audience buzzing. But as soon as he mentioned "Crash will be releasing first on Skylanders" , that audience hype went stone cold.
I was witching back and forth between EZA and WEED3 and both did a good job covering the show, but WEED3 was my go to stream for the times when the conferences started to drag.,

The only real cringe moment this year was South Park at Ubi. Shit was painful.

To put on display just how far he's fallen, I dunno.
Yeah, I too miss the days before all his weird ideas started to become an albatross around Id Tech's neck and his statements started to turn into insane rambling.
Guy was making claims around 2008 that Id Tech 6 would use real-time ray-tracing and render entirely in voxels. Yeah, sorry Carmack, that was some Euclideon tier bull that simply won't be possible for another few decades.
Given a few more years at Id and a few more disastrous versions of Id Tech under his belt, he'd probably officially be the Molyneux of game engine design.

Jamie Foxx and Zac Efron looking like they'd been kidnapped was funny but not really in a cringeworthy way. I find the obsession with "cringe" stuff to be kinda... Well, it just doesn't sit well with me, but anyway, this E3 had its awkward moments but definitely nothing in the Giant Enemy Crab tier.
That Ubisoft opener was pretty bizarre though.

Honestly, nothing about E3 this year was all that cringe worthy. The only one for me was the obnoxious presentation of Sea of Thieves, what an awful way to present that game.
