If there's one Dragon Ball game that needs to be on steam, it would be this one;

The very best and overlooked fighting game about the series, Super Dragon Ball Z

A genuine Dragon Ball fighting game directed by Noritaka Funamizu, a former Capcom producer who worked on the Street Fighter series and Darkstalkers.

Only thing I bought (and probably will buy) is Spriter, an animation software.

Steam sales these days are fucking boring ._.

I was looking for a tabletop combat game, but I needed something simple (I'll be playing it in really short bursts during work), and I think I've found it.

Warhammer Quest

I see many people are quick to dismiss this game (it has a 55 average on Metacritic) because it's clearly a mobile port, it's not too complex and it's a bit repetitive... well, these are all good things for my intents.

I've played it for a few hours yesterday and loved it. I like the graphics, characters are big and it's easy to understand the action. The music is pretty good and while the main story probably won't be too epic, there are lots of quests with short but effective plots. As I've said, the game is not too complex, but you get loot, learn spells and there are even towns where you get new quests and buy equipment.

The standard price and the abusive DLC are guilty for most of the bad scores, but it looks like they've changed the way the DLC is sold and during the sale you can get the complete package for US$ 2.99. If you're looking for a simple turn-based game that you can play in small bursts, I definitely recommend it.

Wasn't Minerva's Dent already discounted? It's a good opportunity to buy it in case it gets confirmed that DLC will be required to get DLC remastered.

Anyone else using Enhanced Steam 8.6 with Firefox 48beta5? ES stopped working/loading and updating to b5 is the only change I can think of.

The only place where it seems to work is the Inventory. But it was already broken for me before b5.

That's why I switched to Steam Database. Less features but it actually works. :|

Absolutely.

After 150h, it's pretty fun, yeah.

Thanks, bought.

4 felt way too weird for me. Is 3 less weird?

Yes, it has a much more serious tone than the fourth entry. The combat system in the fourth entry is generally considered as a slight improvement over the system in the third entry, but otherwise there aren't any drastic differences gameplay-wise.

Can anyone recommend any wargames that are superb and not very much -£6/$15 territory as i'm so tempted by Gary Grigsby again (and it's still so close but above my limit.)

I thought Grimrock 1 was maze-like, but it was nothing compared to Grimrock 2.
First you need to understhand where you need to go in a maze-like overworld, and than you need to clear maze-like dungeons.
Also there's even less story, if possible, compared to Grimrock 1, in the opening cutscene there's not even a single line of text. Not a problem, but it's funny.

Man a few years later and I still hate the trading card system, god forbid they just do something like "get 1 dollar worth of steam credit for every 10 dollars you spend" or something

10% is way too generous. 1% would be more in line with reward cards in grocery stores and drugstores.

Steam makes money off trading cards. The people buying trading cards are the ones feeding that reward system. Valve profits off of it. Nothing like getting rewards from a store.

I had canceled a few trades a while ago and I haven't been able to trade again for days. Looked it up and it could be a week before I can trade again. Not a fan of it either.

Doesn't Psn have the spend 100 dollars get 15 dollars in credit things? Not sure why steam can't do the same thing for its holiday sales, or at least make the trading card interface less obtuse.

They can do like GOG and give away a free game the more you buy. Every $25 gets a random free discontinued early access survival game, $50 gets a free copy of one of those Japanese smut novel games, etc.

They would have to get rid of refunds for it to work. Otherwise people will just buy something to get a free game and then refund wtvr they bought. Too much potential to abuse shit and Valve probably is not in the mood to be removing stuff from people's profiles.

Haha me too, I got to a section where I was escaping the working Joe's and just gave up. That reminds me, I wish I could switch difficulty for Alan Wake midgame, I started on hard but combat is more of a chore the anything yet I'm already in chapter 5.

Also what can I do with the trading cards gathered from this sale?

I think you can sell them but I have no clue. There's an app that does something but I can't remember the name.

But doesn't GOG allow refunds as well? How do they get around that issue?

Is Assetto Corsa worth if I only have a controller? I don't have enough space on my desk to put a wheel.

I'd say it's still a lot of fun. Default gamepad controls feel pretty good without tweaking. Absolutely shits on project cars in that respect .

GOG maybe gets like 5% of the traffic Valve gets during these sales. The amount of resources on Steam used to abuse all these things like cards, gems, trading, keys, etc It all just magnifies any little issue its not really much of a comparison with other sites imo.

Refunds were a mistake.

Developers are probably thinking this. I've refunded every game I got this sale except Transformers Dev.

Not really sure yet whether I prefer amazing sales with no refunds or average sales with refunds. I think I'd be trying more stuff out if price tags were cheaper tbh.

Project Cars is sick in VR, but my 970+8350 can't manage the career mode in lowest settings very well.

Should I refund for something else or just wait for a 1070 videocard
