They can't and they won't. They know if they try they will look foolish and maybe even risk a ban because they will end up saying what's really their motivations for such a vote. They value their GAF account more than the rights of minorities let's be honest.

Nah they will continue to only participate in threads that are positive towards Trump, deny they are voting for him and claim they are going 3rd party despite continuing to defend him at every opportunity, or post a one liner like "Trump 2016!" and then disappear.
 
The next time someone explains they favor Trump over Clinton because of foreign policy, they should be directed to this disaster of an interview.

Then again, I don't believe anyone saying that was honest about their motives in the first place.

They hate Hillary. They hate Obama. They'd vote for a sewer rat over Clinton.

Trump is just tossing out red meat and people are eating it up. They'll watch this interview and after it's finished they'll think "what a great man, I can't wait until he's president."
 
The Irak war bit was just horrible. Maybe they should have seen that question coming and... I don't know... have a PR guy come up with a line or two.
 
I've only read the transcript really, and I kind of pride myself on always assuming the worst about situations like this, but I feel physically sick right now. What a monster.

And the crazy thing is the author of his book Art of the Deal describes a monster even worse than this comparatively sanitized version. Trump is a legitimate danger to the USA. It's actually not patriotic to vote for him.

That entire interview was just....wow. From lies about howtorture works, to a completely vapid policy on ISIS, to the straight up double standard about iraq, this is absolutely amateur hour stuff.

How is this guy polling so high if this is the sort of nonsense he spouts?

I read some of the transcripts so I had an idea of what I was getting myself in to when loading up this video - but man, that was astoundingly brutal. These guys don't really know each other, don't really seem to like each other and seemingly disagree on just about everything.

I don't think like one sentence of substance was said the entire time. Instead it was just Trump bloviating about being "tough" and bringing back torture and "extreme vetting," while Pence just abandoned his career's worth of ideology and voting record to back Donald Trump.

That whole thing just kind of made me sick to my stomach.

I've also only read the transcript. It reads like Bizarro Aaron Sorkin wrote the whole interview for a shitty show.

That and they are also unprepared for any interviews and likely debates with any tough questions. The RNC will be a lot of echo chamber speeches, but I hope once the debates start moderators and press stays tough as nails.

GAF isn't a representative sample of potential US voters, no. On the other hand anyone who supports this authoritarian racist moron is actually a danger to society by association, and so nobody has to pretend to be fair and balanced here. Trump is not a typical Republican candidate, this is not a typical election. He is a sociopath and a legit danger to our nation. If you vote for him, you're a traitor. Period.

I hereby encourage any Trump supporter on GAF to engage in active defense of the man, because I've yet to see anyone come up with a reason that isn't just spiteful nonsense.

I'm trying to think of a rational reason one would expect gaf to be representative of the population of the US, or how that concept even entered into a thought process.

Hilary will win with a landslide. Trump supporters don't know what they really want or don't understand it.
Just like when you flip a coin, you realize what you actually want when the coin in in the air. Half of Trump supporters will vote Hilary when the coin is in the air (November).

With no ground game, no advertisements, and little support from his own party. If he even gets his shit together a little, we have something to be concerned about.

said Mexican immigrants were rapists and murderers

called for racially profiling and then banning an entire group of people from this country

called Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas, after multiple Native American groups said this was offensive

and this is not even remotely a comprehensive list. It would take pages to list all his racist rhetoric.

It's nothing to be concerned about, his numbers didn't move an inch. Clinton had what was likely the very worst week of her campaign and her numbers dipped as a result. Trump didn't gain any ground, she just had a bad week.

Well, according to 538 we do. Marist is historically an accurate polling source. Trends have to start somewhere.

I'm not jumping off a bridge yet or anything, I find it amazing that despite the fact that he's laughably incompetent and unqualified for this position, he has any lead over her at all. I'm more afraid that anyone actually believes this man has what it takes to be president.
