It's not going to feel good soon, once the adrenaline wears off, but you clearly won't have to worry about new prospects. You deserve someone who will trust you, and you trust them. Someone that is comfortable in being honest with you and vice versa. It'll certainly happen. I don't know how old you are, but you look young.
I'm 37, and have been with my wife since I was 24, and it's been amazing. You can 100% do better than her. I'm not a fan of putting down the ex just because she's awful (I've had a few myself in the past). Keep being the good person you are, and try to handle this situation like an adult. Her friends are clearly immature. She seems to be as well. Confronting her wasn't the wrong decision, and you didn't do anything wrong. No matter what she's telling her friends, you know you're the victim here, and you have proof of what she's been doing. It doesn't really matter what she says, because it's over.

I appreciate the compliments, but I'm actually insecure, and I mentioned in another thread (detetctive gaf incoming) that I was actually bullied and had cosmetic surgery, comments have stopped but the insecruity is still there.
Plus when someone goes elsewhere it doesn't do much apart from feed the insecurities.
