Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

I'm playing through red dead right now on Xbox one and noticing some really horrendous frame drops in strange places where nothing is going on.

It seems to be after using fast travel. It feels like 15 fps and the control becomes very unresponsive as well.

Anyone else notice this?

Is Cacpcom arcade cabinet an app with several games like Namco Museum or a wrapper/ storefront like Microsoft Gameroom?

Yeah. That $1.24US is for just the three starter games. The full pack that's $24.99US is not on sale unfortunately. However I went ahead and bought the $1.24 deal anyways since it has 3 games in there. I swear Capcom and MS keep putting a lot of these games on sale again and again, like Dragon's Dogma. I hope it gets added to BC. I know Dark Souls 2 was remastered (not really, it's just a PC port, but whatever), but I wish it would come to BC as I won't re-buy it.

I'm getting Duck Tales and Dragon's Dogma. For some weird reason I'm trusting Capcom...

Because they came through on Dead Rising 1 and 2. Oh wait, no they released them as ports and no BC option. I think Dragon's Dogma being ported to PC means it will be ported to X1/PS4 instead of us getting BC as an option.

A remaster of Dragon's Dogma would be the idea scenario. It's not exactly a technical masterpiece on 360.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking as well.

I am also a PC gaming so I will likely pick up Dragon's Dogma there at some point.

Blood Dragon getting added is a really nice lift after the low I felt looking at the store today.

Seeing Capcom put up the Dead Rising titles as remasters and Activision continue its hostility towards consumers with Fall of Cybertron I'm starting to realize how few titles we're likely to see hit backwards compatibility.

I don't have a problem with remasters being released but in situations where the previous title was on 360 it would've been nice to see either publisher offer the untouched originals through BC as an alternative option.

Just for all the anti-consuner flack MS takes, it sucks to see one of their pro-consumer moves get marginalized by the next guy in line.

Still, Rex Powercolt making an appearance is awesome.

Hah! I kept reading everyone's post as Blue Dragon instead of Blood Dragon.
One more game off the backlog! Now I just need Bully.

You've got to gamble and buy them on sale on 360, usually they put the "sale" price up after it's backwards compatible. Meaning the game is discounted less after it was compatible with xb1.

Yeah, ever since they announced the feature I've been buying loads of games as they come up on sale.

Sometimes it pays off, like with Far Cry, and sometimes you buy both Ultimate Alliance games only for ports to be released instead a few months later.

Has Capcom ever allowed anything on BC, other than relatively minor titles? Because I was hoping they would allow RE4-5-6 but no, they release ports, and with Street Fighter 3 Online, Street Fighter X Tekken or Ultra Street Fighter IV it ain't happening.

I picked up Blood Dragon two or three years ago but never got around to playing it. Glad to see it on BC!

Going to pick up DuckTales in the sale this week. I'm still hoping we get the DMC Collection soon.

For some reason SSX just got added to my Ready to Install list... I didn't buy it and it wasn't there yesterday.

EDIT: It has been added to EA Access, nevermind lol

Yep. I was checking the UI out for EA Access last night to see if it has native support for 4K on Xbox One S (spoiler, it doesn't, but it still looks good) and saw SSX in there. I already got the game free with GWG last year, but was too lazy to post it being part of EA Access. My bad fellow gamers.
:-(

I think this is only an issue with X360 games on X1. Does not let you use your balance, even if from a pre-paid code. It has do with the X360 games in the store actually directly linking to the xbox.com marketplace link for X360 games. Seems the only way to truly use a balance or prepaid code to buy X360 games is on an actual X360. I'm hoping after they unify the store they will fix this issue.

Ill just wait till it's on the Xbox store front then =(
Thanks for the reply .

Screen tearing isn't an issue anymore with FC Blood Dragon but it doesn't run any better.

It actually feels like it runs worse in the frame rate area which really sucks.

Do you guys have the same problem as me? I can't go online Grid2 and Dirt Showdown (x360 emulator isn't connecting with xbox live)
I can log in to xbox live on the Xone but not in the x360 emulator.
