lol 310 watts. what are you doing Sony? thats more twice as much as the PS4.
If it has a Zen CPU it well worth it a console capable of 1080/60 in 90% of games.

I don't know why they list the 310W as maximum power consumption? It is the rated output !

That's just the max theoretical of the PSU. Likely it'll be around 180-200W real world usage.

But it might be usefull for cold countries as a heater with those 310w

Still hyped! 4.2 teraflops and Jaguar cores is a little disappointing though.
No UHD blu-ray player? Wow, I wonder why? Maybe it was to make it cheaper?
I'm still watching the stream and they've been talking about the hardware, it sounds like they're using something to get games to run at 4K, I'm not sure what technique they're using though.

No that had a 380W rated PSU and used ~210W max with full fat PS2 BC. The mistake (in the real world) is Sony stating it is power consumption.
Twice as much GPU and higher CPU...
The 1080p image upscaled to 4K from a standard PS4 is not going to look as good as the 1800p+ (i.e. >2x the res of 1080p) image output and upscaled from a PS4 Pro.
It's not typically going to be 4K native, but it's going to be a lot more native pixels to work with in the upscaling process than the standard is putting out.

If there is a frame rate lock on multiplayer games to match the fps of the PS4, I will not be buying this. This software lock makes no sense.
If they wanted, they should have separated the pool or allowed the option for ps4 players to play with ps4 pro players knowing that there is a difference in framerate.
