I'd imagine the very minor CPU overclock won't allow for many 30 fps games to just jump to 60 fps in 1080p mode. I'd imagine they use the extra GPU power for effects or downsampling or some other AA option.
if you don't game then yeah an Xbox one s would make sense, if you do game then you would not go near a Xbox s.The Xbone S looks better and better.
An actual 4k UHD Blu-ray player with low power consumption to boot.
Sony done messed this one up.
So no native 4K gaming and no support for 4K blu rays? Why the hell even focus on 4K tv's so much?
310W power consumption? What process is this on? Surely not 16nm
have fun with electricity bill and of course.. vacuums are back !
Good to hear. Now have SATA III so I can use an SSD and I'll have what I want.Yeah it has one on the back, along with Optical.

Seems like kind of a waste. The spec bump isn't that huge, and no 4k blu.
Is it two PS4s duct-taped tog...Edit - that's almost double the power use of a ps4, will this thing run hot?
No last minute spec bumps? I'm positively flabbergasted.
Because people keep coming up with the 60fps-patch-wishes I have to ask:
Can this machine even make games run on 1080p/60fps if they were previously running on 1080p/30fps without sacrificing graphical fidelity?

The same CPU and RAM as PS4?

310w? I though the EU didn't allowed consoles to go that high.
Everything else is just what everyone reasonable expected so no surprises there.

Well...the next year is going to be very interesting indeed. I said this on twitter but anyone else notice that they didn't talk about their specs during the Meeting? They knew that 4.2 < 6 TFLOPS wouldn't be good marketing. Smart on them.

802.11ac FINALLY! That and a confirmation of 60fps lock is good enough for me.
Why is that?if you do game then you would not go near a Xbox s.
Does this have high quality uncompressed pixels or not?
Overclocked but yes, the same shit.
14nm i think. They confirmed polaris.

If MS launches at $399, then Sony just drops the price. Xbox can't afford to follow suit after a PS4P price drop. PS2 vs Xbox all over again
Welp another weak console.
