Looks like some nipple clamps to me.
Posting some DS3 screens in anticipation for the DLC. They look quite a bit better at their natural resolution, but I can't find any decent hosting sites that allow for more than 10 megs.

Since there's a free trial on Steam I took the opportunity to make a HUD toggle

Yeah it surprised me graphically. I did add SSAA to make it as sharp as it can.

Game doesn't hotsample, though does have supersampling, which is a bit like resolution scaling in frostbite. Downside of using it is that the depth buffer is gone when you use a value > 1.
(edit) Found FOV, working on CT. (write happens at Homefront2_Release.exe+511AC6E - F3 0F11 30 - movss [rax],xmm6)

They do work but it's only for a few specific HUD elements. It's kinda funny what a weak effort that was considering it was patched in:
