How big is the file on PS4? My PS4 decided to update itself at peak time and is now taking 85 minutes to download a 312mb file...

Awesome. Thanks. Looks pretty good. I'll probably double dip on thisIt does. Own the game and while the cutscenes are still 16:9 the actual gameplay is at 21:9. Port seems good so far.

If I buy Dead RIsing 2 on Steam now, will it be the remastered version? Because it shows the 2010 release date...
Damn the crazyjust kicked my ass.clown
As a general rule are firearms reliable to take down bosses or am I better off seeking good melee weapons?
4 gigs I think for the first game?
I find firearms are good against bosses.
In the main mall you can also pick up a sub machine gun off one of the top awnings by jumping over on the left of the stairs as you go down the stairs. That helps quite a bit.
Man, I'm playing the original for the first time ever and it is fucking brutal. I feel like I'm doing incredibly poorly. I'm only about to start Case 2-1 and I've already missed/failed a few side-quests. Any tips or advice?
Unless you're not referring to the Zelda-esque hit stop, said stuttering is intentional.
Sounds like he is.
It's most clearly seen kicking a soccer ball into a crowd of zombies. <3 the soccer ball.
ThxThe console versions are just ports of the existing PC version.
I'm sure it's been asked before, but how does this work for PC now? Dead Rising 1 got an entirely new Steam listing with a 2016 release date, but 2 and Off The Record didn't seem to change. Did they patch changes in, or is the remastered console version basically just the PC version, so nothing had to be changed?
Any x1 impressions?
PCGamingWiki shows how to enable HBAO+. Performance takes a noticeable hit, but it looks considerably better. Will lower my DSR resolution to compensate.
You can create a profile, then add the .exe to it. Guessing the program hasn't been updated to already have the profile.I'm confused about this. It says "Open the game profile in Nvidia Inspector" but DR1 doesn't show in my list of games. Is there some way to manually add it or am I supposed to use the global profile?

DR2 and Off The Record won't even start on my PS4. Tried reinstalling, but no dice. Just freezes once the Capcom logo appears. DR1 works like a charm. Anyone else encounter this?
Working on my end.Is it just me or is gsync not working in this?
Not sure what one I want to buy.
Don't really want to spend $60 on all 3. Suggestions?
If I had to choose one of these games, it would most definitely be Dead Rising 2.
PS. Are Case Zero and Case West included?
Not sure what one I want to buy.

Jesus I've just read up on this!
"You need to survive infinity mode in DR1 for 14 hours without the ability to save at all."
The WR is only 18 hours

Guess that's one trophy I'll be giving a miss.
Oh shit that reminds me, has anyone been a bad enough dude to get far enough to test the food court crash on day 5 yet? That would be amazing if they fixed it after all these years.Guess what?Every in-game day is two hours, so that world record is actually 36 hours.

Thanks, dude! That did the trick!Yea Ive had the same problem, the only way I have got them to work is by disconnecting my PS4 from the Internet in settings
Is there a way to just purchase DR1 on PSN?
Btw, those load times, so good - so much better than the shit I had to endure when I first played it on 360 when it came out.
It's sort of like Majora's Mask, you return to day one but you have much more information about what to do this time. It's actually a very clever mechanic, especially since it's impossible to do everything, you have to have specific goals to your runs, such as killing every psychopath OR saving everyone.Oh, so you can start a new game when you die and keep your levels.
I... Kinda want to maybe try restarting every time I die? Is that an utterly stupid idea, how long is the game on average? Of course parts os subsequent runs would obviously go faster since I'm just going through the same stuff.

So I got lucky this time. Super Jeep Bros got stuck on errant ground geometry and couldn't chase me or my fully equipped party as we ran back to the security room.
Smooth sailing so far, Sniper Carlito was a bitch but I got him to commit suicide by making him throw his escape-nades while he was stuck to an item sitting in his path. The next psycho between me and the main quest was pretty easily cheesed too through the fine art of corner camping.
...Is cheesing Psychos to kill them going to be a recurring theme here?

they should each be listed separately for $19.99 now. preorder was bundle only
Did they fix the buggered 1st person aiming? Christ that was bollocks.
