Still my most anticipated game this year. Only thing I'm concerned about is that every time we see 'exploration', it's in Duscae or that desert area. Hoping that we get to explore a variety of environments.

Yeah, most of the game I've seen is the desert area or Duscaea. Hope there's some interesting environments we don't know about yet. I think there's a snowy area atleast.

Great to hear that the performance is ok on the OG PS4.

Man, I'm so looking forward to this game. I want it to be my second platinum after The Witcher 3.

They have shown the majority of the environments and monsters in the two world of wonder trailers.

No confirmation but all we have atm is a tweet saying the build at TGS ran and played great. If it looked like the trailer, we don't know yet.

I think S-E and Tabata want to be very careful with how they present such things, especially with the delay. They announced the delay specifically to touch up the base game, not to enhance it for a hardware upgrade which wasn't even officially unveiled at the time. If they are too hasty to show off Pro features, it might give the impression that they delayed it just to try and make people buy a new piece of hardware.

Those who have seen the anime might find it hard to believe. All three 'brothers' are attached to Noctis in one way or other. I don't see it being Ignis.

I just know Luna is pretty much sure she isn't going to die, but Gentiana could have just told her that. It wasn't outright explained that she was an oracle and that she could see the future, though we know it is.

you're right, could be a reason why they are so shy regarding PRO details as of now.

Have to say (although I can stand some not too major spoilers), this is quite spoilery (or, at least, suggestive of spoilers). If you feel strongly against spoilers, you'd probably want to avoid the video (and the thread as a whole, the spoilers are being discussed openly).

Looks good. Cutscenes will be tolerable in Japanese it seems. No way I'm playing this in English. One thing I don't like is that Luna seems like such a weakling. I hope she's not just a damsel in distress.

Well, that was a trailer. It's good that they appear to have managed to get the game to look a bit better, but my hype for the game has more or less flat lined. It looks like we'll more or less get what the footage we've seen thus far seems to imply. An attempt at a more open Final Fantasy game, with a sparse story line and lots of wandering to do in between distant goals.

Yeah, I was struggling to think how it would work after watching Brotherhood. Ignis definitely not.
