Do want. I need to see this with a mask and dragon symbol though.

Iron Fist and Colleen Wing.

Given they're filming Game of Thrones right now at the same time, I'm guessing she won't be in that season very much (not that she was in last season much either but the plotline she's a part of is more in focus now).

They better not go the daredevil route and wait til the finale to show his costume.

At least daredevil's temp costume looked awesome so it was okay.

Those poor costume designers when I'm pretty sure the consensus was how much better the black outfit looked than his actual costume at the end.

By GAF logic, Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the best in the series. It had the most faithful costume, so it's the best Spider-Man movie ever by default.

No, thats actually not the case, no idea how you get from that Netflix costume in the last episode thing to that.

I will say this. Was anyone else annoyed Luke Cage never rocked a yellow t-shirt in the show? Was that so hard to do? They managed to
organically weave his original 70s costume in
but couldn't bother to make one of his shirts yellow?

What Netflix costume? What episode? I was talking about the obsession on these here boards over how accurate the costume as if it is an indication of the quality of the show.

No. His yellow shirt adds nothing to the character, his motivation or overarching story. They did a couple of nods where he would walk past a yellow light and his shirt would color yellow, that was more than enough.

The most important aspect of a comicbook character is his outfit.

... Yeah, that's mostly true from an iconography point of view.

Clothing makes the man.

I've just had to grin and bear it with the Netflix stuff that they want to be so "grounded" that superhero duds will be saved for the "big finish"... sometimes.

I disagree. The color yellow has great significance to the character of Luke Cage. It shows the deep authorial implication that he is a coward and wears that on his sleeve. His heroism, much like his superpower, is only skin deep. By shying away from the true origins of his character and using the yellow shirt, they are trying to portray him as a brave man and a hero, it is an insult to the legacy of the character and the decades of lore Marvel has built up around this beloved character.

Like you're not wrong, but it's his iconic "look" and it doesn't hurt anything to have it. I'm not asking for a "Make Wolverine wear his mask...because" type of thing here, or even for him to wear it all the time. I'm just saying it would have been nice to change the color of one of the many tshirts he wears in the show to yellow. Seriously, why not?

Whatever he chooses to wear from now on, Luke better look into making his outfit bullet resistant. It seriously has to suck going through about a hundred changes of clothes per week whenever he goes out to do some hero work.

Funny how his cowardice is not mentioned once in his Marvel-wiki entry. Where did you get this from?

Next stop; Gladiator.

Hey! There's a reason to give him an outfit. Potter makes him some clothes made out of some fiber that wouldn't be bulletproof for any normal person, but won't tear under the stress of a bullet impact. Luke doesn't want a superhero outfit, so he gets him to make some normal clothes. He asks for a yellow shirt representing he's not hiding in the shadows from no one and he doesn't care if you see him coming.

Anyway, I'll leave it at that. I posted that original comment because I have a million tabs open and I thought this was the MCU one.

Looks like that spring rumor was true. So the Punisher being late summer and Defenders late fall makes more sense now.
