With the defense playing like garbage he feels pressure to carry the offense.
He only had 3 targets last week, so I expect DGB to get a few more targets this week, especially in the red zone. I don't think he got any last week.

All the picks on the lines just haven't panned out. Reminds me of the Rams who have had so many top 5 picks but never got much out of them
A big part of the OLB problem is that there are a lot of teams running 3-4 now and taking all the prospects. The Steelers were hoping to go back to the convert a DE to an OLB with Anthony Chickillo, but he isn't there yet. It may happen with some time, but the rest of the team needs that pass rush to come on faster.
As far as Coates goes, next year, they may need him to run a more diverse route tree. Right now, he just needs to take the top off the defense. Pretty much a straight replacement for Martavis.

This Kaepernick thing is still annoying me a bit.
So many people are saying "the message is lost" now and that the conversation is about the disrespect of the flag.
This may be correct, but who made it this way. Everyone wants to get on black athletes for not going into "their communities" as if you have to put in a certain amount of time to hold political opinions about things white radio loudmouths didn't give a shit about and still don't.
The conversation and message didn't get lost. It was completely shut out. TV personalities hemming and hawing about the "right way" to protest and how the Seahawks did it the "right way." The way that affirms your beliefs and doesn't force you to look in the mirror, look beyond what you see outside your window.
It's hilarious seeing people telling public figures they have to earn credibility on a subject they do not honestly care about. Television sports hosts only talk about it in a way that makes them seem "not racist."
I'm happy the Eagles are planning something. I hope everyone plans something. The symbols of freedom don't matter as much as the freedom itself. People are angry about decorum. No one stands for the flag in their living room. No one pledges allegiance every morning. Not doesn't attack America. It criticizes the image of what we see ourselves as. The way we view our country. The self-image is a lie.
If provoking people in this way moves the needle at all to incite self-reflection then it seems it did something. Even if it provides catharsis, it did something.
If you are unable to move past decorum after the initial shock, then I wonder if you were ever interested in people being treated as human beings.
There is an issue in this country with how black people are treated by the police. The police exist in every civilized society and serve a great purpose. The reaction of the Police Union of witholding protection for the Dolphins because players disagree with them politically is frankly barbaric.

Hyped up rookie RB that no one wants to get lit up by. Giants did it week one and I expect most teams to continue doing it through the season until Dak can kill teams in the air.
