Honestly, this debate gave me almost everything I wanted. The only thing he didn't do was call her a bitch. If he could somehow get worse, that would make my entire life.

Just finished watching the debate because I was at work for most of it. Obviously I thought it was a slaughter and Trump looked like a short-fingered buffoon up there, but I'm eager to see what kind of impact it has on the polls. You can never be sure what plays in this dumb fucking country we live in.
It's a question I always had. It must be more than just "I'm racist, I'm a misogynist, I'm an idiot". Even though that is a powerful triple threat.
She has never looked better, imo.

I'm not sure that pointing out Donald Trump will say any random shit to try to get elected is a defense for "He won't bring up Bill's infidelity".
I'm pretty sure that's exactly why he's likely to do it.

Here's the reality. Almost anyone you or I would really want to be president isn't ever going to be.
Voting for presidents is not a "get exactly what you want" kind of thing - never has been.

Clinton's 35-point win in the CNN post-debate poll is the 3rd largest margin ever, after Romney-Obama I and Clinton-Bush 92 townhall.
The great thing is thinking about how will he respond in the next debate? He obviously can't take the yelling, interrupting tactic again.. yet his "strength" is his "strength", if that makes any sense.

Someone in Trumps campaign must have grilled him hard to shut the hell up about anything like that. He made a reference at the end how he could have said some horrible things about her and her family. So he clearly wants to, but he has been controlled enough not to, cause they know how toxic it is.
I assume recently even more so due to the whole Gennifer Flowers thing.

It was more because Romney's Campaign was doing terribly at that point, and that was the switch. So expectations, they didnt expect him to put that much of a fight (even if it was all lies)

Yeah, it's intellectual dishonesty. If a person doesn't like either candidates that's fine, but cut out the BS "both are bad/the same rhetoric" it really actually spreads misinformation and muddles the differences the representatives stand for simply because a person is too indifferent enough to care. It's quite toxic thinking and can really spread to others who also don't bother to research themselves, something that seems worse with social media nowadays. It's like almost like the "want the world to burn" mentality because you can't get what you want, so screw everything.

Well, he was on his best behavior tonight, clearly. Of course, his best behavior still has him looking like an unhinged sleazebag, but there was a noticeable difference in this Trump vs. Republican debate Trump. I expected him to pull out a 'Crooked Hillary' line or two.
