BrownsGaf, please help, give me a reason to hope.

The light is fading so fast.

You have a team who's starting 11 rookies, 2 of the top of whom are injured. They're on their 3rd string QB when their 1st string was already a question mark, and the #1 WR has been suspended 4 games. This is a team utterly devoid of playmakers, and yet had things gone slightly different they could be sitting at 2-1. Hue is coaching well, there's just no talent there. With all the draft picks stockpiled over the next two drafts, the talent will come.

Wienke is a Pats fan.

These degenerate Pats fans with animu avatars keep trying to besmirch my name by claiming me as one of their own. Sad!

If you don't like Neapolitan pizza you are the problem.

You mean that pizza with slices of deli mozzarella cheese on it? Pass.

I want my pizza with a tremendous amount of cheese. Tremendous. Like half an inch thick on top. Best pizza in the world.

Skip Bayless: Dak Prescott has been better then Carson Wentz so far this year. Wow I did not expect to hear that when I started this video, I get that he says crazy things to generate discussion but this seems like a very hard case to make.

Skip Bayless is an actor, he does not even like the cowboys, there are plenty of stories on why the guy is a piece of shit and how nobody really likes him at all. Hell there are tweets of him admitting the act.

The shit he said about Aikman is just bizarre. I wonder what that was all about. Trying to create something for his shitty book?

Skip making shit up is all he does, the book was not sourced at all and pulled out of his ass, hellbent on ruing somebody's career just for book sales. I would not give that dickwad any of your time.

I love corn kernels but I dont see how that would work on pizza either. I need to drown the corn in salt and butter, 2 things that I wouldnt normally put on pizza.
it adds a little bit of sweetness which balances out the tomato sauce. not overpowering like shitty pineapple.

Cowboys 3 best players are now injured. We're one Sean Lee concussion from it being top 4. Scandrick is up there as well, just lost Lael Collins...Two years in a row with this shit

It is nice to have wins again that feel like the offense actually took their share for the win. So glad Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas took leadership roles and said they both want the ball more. It is early, yet there is no denying the Broncos have faced some tough teams. The funny thing is how the D proved a deciding factor for the super bowl (like the seahawks ) last year. Dreams in Denver should remain a Mile high.

Sucks that Dez is hurt. I always maintain that I want my hated rivals to shit the bed on the field and not off of it!

I took till week three for my hope in the saints to go 8-8 to die.

Sean Payton is a good coach who is going to let loyalty to his position coaches sink him. Bill Johnson is still the defensive line coach and seen 3 different DCs and they have only ever had a pass rush for 1 year since 2009 when he got there. Most of the other defensive assistants have also survived multiple DCs.

Loomis our GM has also gotten comfortable. The sad truth is that our owner is basically dying, there is a succession fight on who is going to get control over the team next, and in this power vacuum it looks like Loomis and Payton have become complacent and there is no accountability in the organization. The last few years the hard facts point to Loomis and the player evaluation department being the worst in the league. Drafting has been average or below, free agency acquisitions have without a doubt been the worst in the league, and cap management has been atrocious.

I feel like Payton and Loomis can be great again like they were from 2006 and on, but they need accountability and a little fire under their ass. With a absent ownership, this isn't likely to happen.

Sources: #Texans star DL JJ Watt has re-injured his back and is expected to be out for an extended period of time. Could be the season.

edit: didn't see the new thread. You people need to stop bumping the old one!

well damn. Always suspicious when a guy is supposed to be out for an extended time and is magically ready far sooner. Hope he and the Texans didn't rush him back.

I mean he is stupid and wrong but seeing how well Pederson and Reich have coached Wentz so far, I wouldn't be surprised if Dak had similar success as an Eagle.

They could have still taken the top player at their pick and had possibly landed their franchise QB.

Eagles-GAF what do you think of our running back situation going forward? I was on board with drafting a top RB in the 1st round next year but the way Smallwood and Barner ran the ball on Sunday, maybe we don't have to. It might be better to focus on the offensive line, try to find a replacement for Peters.

Assuming Vikings make it into the playoffs and possibly a deep run, the Eagles 1st round pick could be in the last 5 of the first round. At that point you take the BPA, be it OL or whoever.

You guys also acting like starting linemen are only the guys selected in the top 10. If Lane moves over to LT, assuming Peters is let go, finding a replacement RT will be a lot easier in the later rounds.

There is no HB out there that deserves to be drafted that high anymore. Running back by committee is too effective and injuries to the position too common. Just draft a couple late rounders.
