I do appreciate they went with donkeys to pull the War-carts. That is a nice attention to detail.
Bundlestars has Civilization VI Digital Deluxe Edition for $64. That's about £50 in Paypal converted UK monies, which is the same price as the standard edition on Steam.
UK price is showing up as £55.99
Leader - Saladin
National Ability - The Last Prophet - When the next to last great prophet is claimed, they automatically receive the last one if they have not yet gotten one. This guarantees that Arabia will be able to found a religion.
Leader Ability - Righteousness of the Faith - The worship building for the Arabian faith is very cheap, and produces bonus science, faith and culture.
Unique Unit - Mamluk - A knight replacement heals at the end of every turn, despite moving or attacking. It's heavy cavalry, so it also ignores Zone of Control.
Unique Infrastructure - Madrassa - Generates more science than the university that it replaces in the Campus district, and it provides faith depending on the campus adjacency bonus.
Interesting UA. I wonder if it's just straight bad in lower difficulties? Arabia seems like they would have the faith to get an early prophet and just ignore the ability. I wonder if it's better to just focus on something else and bank your faith, get the final prophet free, take what beliefs you get and use your faith bank to just get pressure and religious buildings online way earlier than some others.
Also, I continue to be very impressed by the leader models. I really hope each civ ends up with a few of them and there are a lot more civs in expansions just to see all the personalities.
Do we know yet if the great Civ tradition of Ghandi being nuke happy is going to be upheld?
Gandhi is a meme for them at this point

I wonder if the first four DLCs would be only scenarios and maps, because I only need leaders and continents map.
Also, what?

It also has the standard for 20% off as well.
Never used bundlestars before, are there any issues with them?
Also, did they announce what kind of DLCs they're planning on releasing? Digital Deluxe Edition has the soundtrack and DLCs, but I have no idea whether I'm even interested in the DLCs.
is the embargo for reviews or just showing gameplay?
Okay, from the videos I've seen so far I am seriously loving the new tech and civics trees, hell the entire new government overhaul looks fantastic. I also love that scouts get XP for each tile they discover, that's awesome.

Thanks for the impressions. I like that Beyond Earth literally isn't mentioned in the article, and the previous game in the series is implied to be Civ V.Previews and gameplay.
Thoughts, screenshots, streams, etc. Basically, we have their preview build on our computers at home. I can load the game up right now if I wasn't working.
My thoughts are here.

Try Rising Tide. I have over 100 hours of BE and Vanilla -> Rising Tide feels like going Vanilla -> Brave New World in Civ V.as someone who has played over 500 hours of civ v I never even finished 1 game of beyond earth
Wow hills seem super strong now, they are a +1 Production bonus to whatever the base terrain is. So grassland + hills is 2 Food + 1 Production, plains + hills is 1 Food + 2 Production etc.
Which is kinda crazy considering that forest can add another +1 production on top of that. You can have a base 2 Food 2 Production (Grassland, Hill, Forest) tile without any improvements or resources on it.
isn't that how hills work before
I'm pretty sure that in V hills overwrite the base terrain and give only +2 Production.
