VD-Dev is the indie developers that push portable hardware. They got a GTA like game running on the DS (C.O.P. Recruit). They did IronFall for the 3DS as well. Not necessarily. BotW is a cross gen game. It not being too much of an upgrade doesn't really say much about the console's actual power.

Except it seems it's the poster boy if the console, at least for that reveal. So that is a clear problem if it doesn't showcase the console strengths

Aren't there rumblings of a new Mario game?

Besides, Nintendo likes to showcase console features more than visuals these days so it being the main launch game doesn't really matter until we see NX specific features.

If it weren't too much to ask, I'd like to see better IQ (AA, texture filtering), Higher resolution textures and some more complex geometry (displacement mapping) from the NX version of BotW.

I'm hyped based on the leaks mentioning hybrids but I reckon a large amount of people will be disappointed with it, on a scale of the Wii U, for not being a full blown console trying to rival Sony or Microsoft.

Then your 3DS must be defect because both my 3DS have almost exactly the same battery life than both of my Vitas. Only exception is rest mode in which the Vita beats the one of the 3DS by much more than a sixth.

At comparative levels of brightness, even with 3D off, my Vita has ways outlasted my 3DS in play time. And yes I'm absolutely taking sleep mode into account, in which my 3DS lasts maybe a few days after a play session, whereas my Vita can last weeks.

I love my 3DS to death, make no mistake, but I don't think anyone has ever praised it for its battery life.
