so I have a PS4 operations related question, Pro is my first PS4 so not familiar.
I know that there's an option to turn on automatic game update downloads and installs when the thing is in rest mode, but I'm seeing some mixed things online, is this feature only available to PS + users or to all users ?

The only thing locked behind PS+ is it automatically uploading your saves to the cloud. downloading patches, updates etc doesn't require plus.

Thanks ... but I guess that article is using older pictures (?) the description in the picture they have of the PS4 interface says If you're a plus member the PS4 can download files in Rest mode.

Good point. I was thinking strictly in terms of spinning media, but I'm sure there are a handful who have gone the SSD route despite the steep price tag for a drive that large.

He's a pretty generally competent youtuber, but yeah. The man was pretty hyped in this vid. This was NOT his best video. He's pretty solid when it comes to dispelling weak rumors, but he's an enthusiast firstmost and formost. You won't find technically savvy comments on this channel, but he's pleasant to listen to every once and a while.

Not quite sure what kind of bombshells could drop. Other than patches announced for games that people are desperate for.
Hopefully DF test framerates of games running on Base mode against the stock PS4. Just want to see if the GCN updates do actually give a tiny boost or not.
