The silence about what's going on in Yemen in particular is deafening to me.
This actually isn't an unreasonable position, but Trump clearly sees foreign policy as transactional and efforts by the US that don't give us something directly back aren't worth pursuing or should be abandoned. Even when they are aligned with our own national interests-that's not enough for him.
It's a bad lens to make decisions through and the President has giant leeway into FP matters. I get the Larison crowd and how they don't like Hillary, but Trump is just not an option here.

Just voted in Virginia Beach. There were no lines at all. I just had to wait for a couple of minutes for a polling station to be open.
Although I voted for third party candidates in 2008 and 2012 (although I voted Dems in all downticket races and always vote for the Democrats in midterms and off year elections), this year I felt like there was no choice. I'm hardly the biggest Clinton fan in the world, but Trump must be stopped at all costs. So I was proud to cast my vote for her, and for Tim Kaine (for the third time now).
I did have to hold my nose while I voted for Sessoms to be re-elected as mayor. What a shitshow this mayoral race is.
I spent most of my time before the election researching the city council and school board candidates. I felt pretty good about my choices, and the Democratic sample ballot I was given outside the polling station had the same ones on all the races they included, so I guess I did a good job.

Same here. Even when I voted Romney over Obama it didn't feel bad to know that Obama would be President.
This time around, both choices are bad. One may be more or less bad than the other to you depending on what issues you care about, but these are garbage tier choices for POTUS.
Your presidential vote probably won't sway anything, but vote for recreational marijuana and at least you'll be able to self medicate if things go sideways. Assuming you don't drop dead of course. Good luck.

There are certain things you need to be pragmatic about when you are discussing politics. You are never going to get everything you want, especially in a first past the post system. Furthermore, you have to realize policy decisions, especially those from someone with a career as long as Hillary Clinton's, are sometimes done from a place of Political expediency. Iraq War, gay marriage, tough on crime 90's laws, these come from an era of white, Chrisitan majority politics and Hillary has admitted her mistakes and adjusted her worldview to compensate.
The majority of Wall Street donates to the Republican party.
America's manufacturing output is at all time highs and showings no signs of slowing down. How do you expect these products to be competitive on the world stage if they have to compete with weaker currencies and local tariffs?
Yes, they took money from some shady countries, that also happen to be our allies, to provide services to people suffering from AIDs, Malaria, etc.
They also took money from private corporations to line their own pockets while they were private citizens.
Raises questions of potential conflicts of interest, but also several steps removed from an actual conflict of interest. Especially when this is the party pledged to remove actual bribes from our political system in the form of unlimited donations to PACs.

You sure those were volunteers for the polling station itself? They could have been trump volunteers there to "monitor" the voting and the actual poll volunteers were too intimated to do anything.

Just finished voting. SC isn't going to go blue, and my district definitely isn't going blue with as many military retirees as there are living here, but I still went and happily cast my vote for Clinton. It sucks that the House seat only had a Republican running unopposed. Lines weren't super-long but it still took like 30 or 40 minutes. They had a woman checking registration for people's last names L-Z and apparently there weren't that many people there with those names, so they kept calling for any and all L-Z people in line to bypass it and go in, so she wouldn't be sitting there doing nothing. Luckily there weren't that many people talking politics in line, because I didn't want to hear whatever dumbshit praise the locals have for Trump.
Eh, we'll see what happens tonight I guess. I was so sure in 2012 that Obama was going to win and the "neck-and-neck" narrative from the media was bullshit for ratings, but I've lost a lot of faith in my fellow Americans in the last four years.
