PS4 Pro boxes getting prepped

I'm probably being a little paranoid but... Amazon shows it shipped mine on the 8th and it says it will be delivered tomorrow. HOWEVER, checking the tracking number on the UPS site shows that it will be delivered on the 14th. I took tomorrow off so I could make sure I was home for it, but I'm not sure which info to believe! I guess I'll check in the morning, and if it doesn't show "out for delivery" I'll just have it shipped to my work. I was really hoping to get it all set up this weekend!

Got an email from UPS thinking that my package was handed off to them from USPS, but NO, it was just JUST FOR MEN GAH DAMN
 
Amazon.ca playing with my emotions. I was promised in chat it would ship today. They have 2 hours. I already got a $10 coupon because it didn't ship yesterday

Depends on last mile carrier and product. I've had them make me sign for replacement Food Saver bags while they left my launch PS4 and games at the door.

Seems very fortunate for you. I'm in the boat with the rest of us Target bums trying to save a few bucks and still waiting on shipment.

Perhaps so many people took advantage of the Wishlist deal that it exceeded their supplies per area and they are redirecting supplies to meet demand resulting in delays. Pure guess.

Target is all over the place when it comes to shipping. I've ordered stuff that arrived next day, and I've ordered stuff that takes a week. The thing is, I think they're better than they used to be. It used to be always slow and never shipped early. Before preorders wouldn't ship before release date, but now they ship days before release. Before everything took at least 5 to 7 days. I think now they're trying to ship things from local stores or centers to get things to you faster. I had LEGOs arrive the next day. My B2G1 shipped Monday and arrived Wednesday, but my Dishonored 2 shipped last week and still hasn't arrived. The thing though is because of that, it's totally unpredictable when something will ship and how long it will take to get to you. I wouldn't ever expect release date arrival though, and I would never expect it to arrive fast. That said, I'll use Target.com whenever I need something from them or if I want to save money. Never if I need it timely and it needs to be shipped.
 
Cancelled my bhphoto order and jumped on the ebay $385 shipped with $20 PSN credit deal. Im still waiting for the 2tb firecuda to go back in stock so I can wait a couple extra days.

I was planning to walk into target tomorrow except now i went for the ebay $405 controller bundle :D
 
My package departed Commerce CO over 24 hours ago; I live 7 hours away. The tracking still says that there are 2 business days until delivery, though I'm supposed to be picking it up tomorrow at 8AM. I'm rapidly losing my optimism that Amazon/UPS won't fuckup _another_ console launch day delivery for me.

Edit: Those of you with full weekend delays from Amazon, fuck em. Buy it at a local shop if you have the money and refund your amazon purchase. I will absolutely be doing that if mine gets delayed beyond launch day delivery. Not giving them money when they screwup release day deliveries is the only message that matters.

They always do this for consoles. If you complain about it (which I absolutely did, loudly and profanely, when my XBOne was shipped via ground the night before it was supposed to be delivered) they'll say that it's to protect the packages from harm. Yeah, I'm sure that flying in an airplane for three hours is more damaging than driving cross country in a UPS truck and passing through 7 different distribution centers.

Bah, pre-ordered from Amazon as a Prime member in the first five minutes it was allowed. Paid it off in full for a launch day release and they screw me over with a delay.

So I cancelled and am now prepaying at Gamestop in SoCali for a 9PM release (a little over 30 minutes from now). Oh well, I'm thankful for Plan B being an option.

I'm in LA, mine was delayed to the 12th but I updated myUPS shipping to my local UPS CC and it later updated to a launch day pickup. If anyone else has delays with UPS you should try that. Also, don't ship to a UPS store it'll delay your shipment another day, it has to be UPS CC.

Except this is something that has never happened before to me. It may be close to the date at times but there has never been such a huge gap in time where the package goes nowhere for two days.

Did that just right now. Delivery date is now the 16th....hahahaha.

Because of the Amazon/UPS screw up, I now don't have to hope they will keep their "before 8PM" delivery promise tomorrow or roam around looking for some UPS drop off facility for a maybe-its-there-maybe-not discovery. I'm across the street from GameStop eating pizza before I head back over to get my unit in 15 minutes.

Anyone else on the fence like I was? Cancel your Amazon order and search for a GameStop with units ready to go right now.

I'd love to but only if Amazon refunded me then at that moment. Can't afford another Pro.
 
So I wake up this morning to an email saying Dishonered 2 will now be with me on Saturday, worst thing is their system states Saturday is still on time!

That's a Pro and game delayed in 12 hours to a prime customer.

If anyone from Amazon UK is reading this you just lost a customer.

Mine shipped (Amazon UK) last night. Together with Dishonoured 2, it's arriving today!
 
Yay! My package finally moved from Dallas! To Ft. Worth....which is also in Texas...in the last few hours....even though this is still supposedly coming tomorrow....yay...

Mine was less than 3 hours away then 6 hours later it had moved to a city that's like 8 hours away lol. It still says it's gonna be here tomorrow so all's good still.

Did you put it in a folder called PS4 and then UPDATE?

Also I'm not 100% sure but with some firmware updates on other hardware, there has to be nothing else on the memory stick other than that.

Might not be try with PS4 firmware mind.

Hopefully. I mean Ft. Worth is 18 hours away on car. So unless they fly here I don't see much of a chance. Plus if they drive here then the truck will have to make pit stops.
 
Sad day here in Malaysia. Sony MY doesn't care for customers who preordered here. They prioritized Sony stores first so walk-in customers can buy the Pro on release day. Preorders are only expected to arrive end of November and about 5+/- units per store are allocated. We already paid in full and this is the way they treat us here. WTF!

People who preordered in Sept and Oct are getting it in December while walk-in customers are playing games in their Pro now...

Takes me back to almost exactly 3 years ago. Good thing this time is Tesco have DPD delivering this one on the earliest (before 9:30?) otherwise it'd be another 4 hours until Steve came back this way with the regular deliveries. Might be up and running by lunchtime.
