I honestly hope they do this game justice and by that, outside of characters, they need to flesh out the Story Mode, a legit Training Mode and just extras. It's a Capcom game so of course the gameplay will be top notch but this is Marvel. Marvel's a name people can trust. You can't come in barebones like with MvC3. And I hope X-Factor isn't in the game because man, that was some wacky stuff.
What I REALLY want to know is...how will the artstyle be? I don't want it to look like MvC3 did at all. I want something cleaner, more comic-like.

Most definitely. Ultrachen got way too hyped and the mic got cut off. That was how hype it was. Cherry on top for the event was kusoru taking the whole tournament.

Alright I just popped back in my scratched up Ultimate Marvel vs 3 disc. I never realized Dr. Strange was in this! I saw the movie yesterday, and wow he's pretty great in this game huh

His Spencer comebacks were sooo hypeHe's pretty great.
Though he makes a better assist character than on his own that's why he was big on teams with Nova or Spencer. His super still sounds like 'Smell-O-Vision'

Oh, I see. I recall him using Hawkeye a few times to counter Champ's Dorm, but that was a brief thing. He pretty much stayed with Morridoom before switching Akuma out for Vergil and keeping that team intact.
I loved Combofiend's Nova/Spencer/Hawkeye. When Chris was still fairly dominant, I remember Combofiend playing and beating him in their first set. It was with the She Hulk team. He kept catching Morrigan with the AA super.

My team of Dr. DoomSentinelDr. Strange is tearing these AI up, yo! Dr. Doom didnt have a laser gun in that movie, or hidden missiles. He only throw lightning bolts or something. Capcom gets it right

Thanks. It's been yrs since I've seen it. Damn, it was so hype to imagine how the other top players would handle Chris G. He was so dominant that you didn't think anyone other than the WC players like Justin, Champ, and Combo had a chance against him. I remember how hyped I was when Yipes finally defeated Chris at Summer Jam. It was so refreshing because nearly everyone was dismantled by Chris rather easily.
I miss storylines like that.

The shift in focus to MvC cinema universes and latter day Capcom titles left MvC3 with a vastly inferior character roster and it really lost the colourful comic book look of the 2D titles. MvC2 all the way.
If there is an MvC4 I'd like X-Men characters back in, a more colourful aesthetic, and revert back to classic Capcom characters like Resi 1 Jill Valentine rather than Resi 5 Jill & Spencer (GTFO).
Also some new Marvel comic characters like Spider-Gwen pls.

Even though it was only the losers finals, it was all that mattered out of the tournament to me. It couldn't have been closer. Truly the best 2 players of the game to me. Sorry Justin.

Nah, I'd argue the Marvel side at least was FAR superior to MvC2. Much better representation spread of Marvel, and generally better "wild card" choices.
Capcom can be debated. I think 3 ditched a lot of very obscure characters for more recent ones, but some of those characters (CapCom and Jin in particular, MvC1 vets!) are sorely missed and should've stayed. Also... no Mega Man? What the hell, yo?
But overall, MvC3 tried to move away from "X-Men vs Street Fighter" and more towards being "Marvel vs Capcom", so despite some misteps on the Capcom side I'd argue it was a positive step.

Usually they're great to ensure a stable high framerate, fewer distractions, and allow players to nail their spacing down. They're a bit bland, but I don't really care for characters blending into the background if you pick the wrong color or costume.
