This, I don't dislike at all the look from RE5 but I prefer STARS and BSAA a 1000 times over it.
Capcom should update her MvC2 moveset with the Lost in Nightmares look.

And didn't Seth Killian says that characters like Captain Commando, Jin, Cyclops, among others, where rejected because of those cray moveset and the power of the consoles at that time? They were saying something like the consoles couldn't handle too much at the screen at the same time, and the moveset of captain commando and Jin was near impossible. In the case of Cyclops they say something like a full-screen optic-blast was too broken.,
I share this sentiment. I'd prefer to keep the original characters in question. But if the worst-case scenario happens, I could see Capcom trying to salvage those movesets in some way (though I don't expect the new ones to be 1:1 clones of the lost Marvel characters, but rather inspirations or derivatives of the originals).

I hope the game leaks before the end of the week if it's happening. Not like an actual trailer or anything. But like the digital releases of MVC1,2,3 just magically popping back up on PSN and XBL. That would be the biggest hint of all that something is happening.
I feel like it'd be more likely that the MvC games would be available for XB1 BC while the PS4 gets ports of UMvC3, MvC2, & MvC Origins on the PlayStation Store (maybe Steam too, if Marvel loosened up about their stance on PC versions of games, which seems to be the case since High Moon Studios' Deadpool game is on PC).

That's the reaction we'll have if it indeed happens, let's hope for the best though.
I'll repeat my idea for a Dr. Doom loophole.
Create a "new" character, call him Decoy or something.
Make the design really close to Dr. Doom, his moves too, basically make the character feel like he's a thinly disguised Dr. Doom.
Make his ending reveal he's some sort of robot and basically obvious that he's a doombot without actually stating so.
When the rights revert, either make it clear in the following game that Decoy was a doombot and now Dr. Doom is back, or in an update to MVC4 to unlock a Dr. Doom skin as Decoy's new default skin and an an extended ending revealing Decoy was indeed a Doombot.

It's going to be a long week.
They can put Doom in the game if they want, rights only affect TV and movies. Making a close character to Doom would be stupid if all they want to theoretically avoid by puting in the game F4 or X-men is to give exposure to the characters in the first place.
