Is anyone having trouble turning in the quest called "Emergency Delivery" to the cook named Taka? I have all the ingredients but can't seem to be able and turn in.
It's a quest where cindys garage is.

Is weird, when vendors and similar gives you missions, you don't have to talk to them to turn them, there's another UI prompt sign that appeanrs near them. That's what you have to intercta with.

Edit: Is not that? No idea then.

Nope the quest even sais return ingredients to takka, i click book beside taka and he keeps blabing crap but doestn end quest :(
 
Encounters can be so brutal at times. I went to fight some cow dudes, then suddenly, some prowlers came at me, at the same time, stupid imperial came in with like 30 people with 10 of them snipers. Almost completely destroyed me.

I find shutting my PS4 off completely fixes a lot of the issues I've had. Like at one point Prompto completely disappeared and the only thing that fixed it was a complete reboot.

But make sure to manually save first.
 
Sorry guys if this has been answered.

I have been playing in Japanese with German subtitles, I noticed a lot of repition of dialogue. Does the game have more spoken dialogue in Japanese ? Also, in the intro, the fire scene in the beginning, doesn't subtitle everything everything they say, that's why I have been thinking that there is more VO in Japanese. Is that the case?

(Spoilers ahead)

Movie will give you a deeper understanding of certain events (
exactly how did Regis die? Exactly what circumstances in minute detail about the fall of Insomnia. At what point did Luna acquire the Ring of the Lucii?
) All of this is detailed and told in the game (some instances the CG in the game showing it too), but just shown in the movie.

That being said, the above isn't necessary to understand the story. You just need to know that
King Regis died and that Luna has the ring
. Both of which is detailed in the main story of the game. (And shown too)

the judgment demo (Japan account only) that recently released is representative of the combat in this game.

Combat is vastly improved over the duscae and platinum demos.

Before getting my hands on this game, I was expecting combat to be passable at best (expecting improvements but not much from the duscae and platinum demos) and for other aspects of the game to make up for it.

Didn't expect to find the combat so fun.
 
Chapter 5, Lv. 30-ish. Are there any optional dungeons I should have/could have found by now? Ones I would reasonably be able to do at my level?
 
I didn't think fishing would be so difficult in this. I finally got the hang of reeling them in so the line doesn't break, but even then it seems like a bunch of fish won't bother going for the lure unless you have the specific bait. There really isn't a way for you to tell what bait you need either, so I guess you go by the name of the bait.
 
So guys, I just got the game and I'd like to play right now for a few hours (~2) before I got to bed. Am I missing a lot if I don't wait for the patch to download (I'll let it download overnight instead)?
 
30mins left of Kinglsaive and it's been pretty enjoyable so far. Wish I'd watched it before starting the game though, rather than watching it at the point where they shoved a random scene down my throat. Scene prob would have felt like more of a flashback that way actually and much less offensive

Edit: game auto saved just before that point so I guess I can test that theory
 
The trophy names are so boring. No creativity. That said, looking at the list (other than hidden ones) the hardest trophy for Platinum looks like max level fishing. Only level 2 and it's so boring, yawn.

Can't answer your question, but I can say I'm currently watching my patch download at less than a half a meg a second. Sucks.
 
I actually really enjoyed Kingsglaive and FF XV so far. Tried to keep my expectations low after XIII, and the quality of their writing in general. I am very pleasantly surprised.

I was concerned about the trophies as well. I really feel like there should be trophies for completion of optional dungeons or the like.

Huh. Just accidentally figured out how to sprint infinitely. Cool, that's helpful. Just keep holding the sprint button until the bar is almost depleted, then lift and hold again. Stamina bar back at 100%.

You don't need to hold it down. Just hit L3 right before it depletes and you are good.
 
Played all day before work. I love it. My only complaint is battles feel overly chaotic, especially when my party is suddenly decimated while I'm doing just fine. I don't really feel like I'm in control.
 
If I have to sit through Ignis telling me it's dangerous to drive at night before I can get in the car ONE MORE TIME, I'm going to flip lol
