I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
it really doesnt, you just didnt pay attention
Well then I guess I'm too dumb to understand Star Wars Rogue One.

I thought Tarkin was fine, especially in his first scene. Later on, there was some issue with the eyes. It's not perfect, but it was serviceable and I was happy that he was included. I, too, thought Leia looked a bit more... off, but again, nothing that warrants the annoyingly over-dramatic screaming about "Uncanny valley! Uncanny valley!" that I'm completely done with.
CGI doesn't bother me if it's a creature. But if the CGI is supposed to be a human (especially a human we've seen on screen played by a dead actor) and is interacting in scenes with real people it just takes you out of it
Who cares?
No really, serious question, who actually cares?
How is complaining about a 5-second one-line cameo from a beloved character anything other than pointless nitpicking for nitpicking's sake? Why even ask something as completely pointless and utterly inconsequential as "What does this 5-second cameo contribute to the narrative of my fantasy space opera?" Who cares?
Rebels stuff was spoiled for me so this is what got me.
Actually he was killed by Rebel fire.
I agree some of the characters are underdeveloped, but I thought Cassien was the shit. Surprised more people don't feel that way.
Yeah, the first time I saw CGI Tarkin, I thought, "WTF"...it clearly looked off. I imagine the team that worked on that won't be getting a call back for future work.
Call me crazy but the callback that got me the most was
Rebels stuff was spoiled for me so this is what got me.
apparently if he is not a blonde guy trying to get out of their uncles farm, they are "underdeveloped"
I will say this, cgi Tarkin and Leia made me believe we could see a Star Wars film sequel to Episode 6 with cgi Han, Leia, and Luke.

Which almost makes it strange character-wise that she still wants to help these people even after Carissan blows her off talking about how he was gonna murder her dad and then the council says no to helping her. But oh well plot demands we gotta get the plans now so lets go.
I did appreciate what I thought was a fairly subtle arc for him.I agree some of the characters are underdeveloped, but I thought Cassian was the shit. Surprised more people don't feel that way.

Yeah, they could have pulled more out of him for sure, but I thought what we got was still great. It's definitely a Gareth Edwards movie, but it's way more emotional than Godzilla ever was.I liked Cassien and his conflict. There could have been some real gold there, actually I thought the opening moments of the film were quite strong. When he blasts that informant it was an oh shit moment. The movie fails its characters more often than not however

Probably had something to do with her receiving his message and then talking with him...................... just maybe?
You didn't like it brandon?=O

Leia didn't bother me because they made it look way closer to the real deal (by having her stay in one place in frame lol)

Naw, Rey was more developed than Jyn too.
Rey and Finn were both developed just fine.
Nah that shit is still way too hard and will cost a bunch of money whenever you have even a basic shot of the characters.I will say this, cgi Tarkin and Leia made me believe we could see a Star Wars film sequel to Episode 6 with cgi Han, Leia, and Luke.
Eeeeehhh... Do not want. I'd rather not have the movies go into the 6-7 gap. Or rather, I'd prefer not to see the main cast's story during that era, full spin-offs would be fine though. I think its better to keep that period of their lives to partial stories and whatnot. Leave a little bit a mystery and open elements there - we don't actually need to see how lame of parents Han and Leia were. Plus, I loved how VII handled Han's story and we're already getting a whole prequel movie on him. I don't really want even more mining of the character, since I think the arc is great as is.
really? fuck people,
she didnt do it for the ALLIANCE; or for CARSSAN.
she did it for her father, the father who was taken from her, the father who was thinking about her for 15 years without know if she was alive or dead.
she did it because his father worked on that weakness as their retribution for what the empire did to them.
I wonder if the CG characters played better for people that weren't familiar with those characters/actors. Maybe we thought they looked bad because we had expectations for what those people actually look like.
Where were you when everyone was bitching about Rey and calling her a Mary Sue?
Worst in the series.

why people keep saying things like, "not enough to care for this character" when luke and obi wan were the same, why we should care for this blond brat who wants to abandon his old relatives to go have adventures, and for this old fart that say "these arent the droid you are looking for"
the only reason you care for luke and everyone else is because they keep developing them on the sequels
Worst in the series.
And hours later she was falling in love with the man who blew her off when she confronted him for lying to her and attempting to kill her father.
You're right but maybe the actual way it was shown on screen didn't completely convince me. Like I said before, more character-building scenes would have helped better show that. Her dad spent years working on the Death Star to add a weakness, she's not about to say fuck it and not finish her dad's work.
agaaaaaaaaain, why would the personal droids of bail organa wont be where he is??
Let's not get crazy nowWorst in the series.

Cause it's unneeded and only there for fan service.
I get that. I think it would have been cool to see Luke build his Jedi colony, even though we know what happens to it. Cartoon then ala Rebels and Clone Wars?

That doesn't answer my question. Who cares?
It can't be worse than Episode 2, that's hard to top!Worst in the series.
