It was also during a time when the heavyweights were the complete opposite. Guys like Hogan and Nash and even Goldberg made the contrast even greater. Nowadays the top guys like Owens and Seth do the crazy shit the cruisers used to do so what's the point? There is just nothing remarkable about these current guys. They look like jobbers.

Nope that's one of the many problems with this division. They've not given anyone any real personalities. They've given them all create a wrestler personalities. Combine that with not letting them wrestle a match fitting of the division and you have fans not giving a shit.
