Play the game or use a program like IdleMaster to pretend you're playing the game. The trading cards will appear in your inventory. Then sell the cards en masse on the Market. You'll only make $0.05-0.10 per card, but they add up quick.

I couldn't tell you. I know I was nervous because of the PC performance thread, but I honestly haven't run into any problems. I can get 60fps at 1080p, which is good enough.
It also didn't cost me a dime as I used Bing rewards.

REALLY enjoying F:NV on my new Steam Controller, and am considering either Fallout 3, Oblivion. or Morrowind, but am paranoid about how playable they will be on Windows 10.
Anyone played these on W10? Are there any issues with them and that OS? I remember my brother having huge problems with F3 on Win7 years ago due to Games for Windows or something.

and this is months of card build up, I had like 480 cards or something to get at the start of this, down to 160 now or whatever it is. Last time I had done a card purge was... err last major sale probably, in the summer I guess.
Just do it. Honestly, I was in the same boat as you and I picked it up. Possible GOTY contender for me. To help convince you, I'd give you the following analogy
Baldur's Gate II :: Planescape Torment
KOTOR :: KOTOR II
Neverwinter Nights 2 :: Mask of the Betrayer
Pillars of Eternity :: Tyranny
All of these games were great in their own right (well, maybe not NVN2), but the ones of the left were more vanilla.. and the ones on the right are a bit more fondly remembered.
Not saying Tyranny is on par with any of the games on the right, but so far it's been a hell of a ride.
Will be receiving my Steam Controller + Steam Link next week, any recommendations other than on my list to help me break in this combo?

I sold a bunch of trading cards and old Dota 2 items that I've acquired over the course of about 2200 hours in that game. From about 1/2 of those items selling, I got a little over $78 which I used to cut down on my wishlist a bit. More money is still coming in from the market so I'll likely get a few more games before it's all done but this is a good haul for now

Fallout 3 - The game requires multiple tweaks to not crash on startup. If you apply appropriate ones for PCgamingwiki you should be good. About GFWL, if you use script extender it automatically disables GFWL, there are also other tools on nexus that disable it. If you want achievements, you are gonna have to use GFWL as it doesn't have Steam achievements. If you buy the game now, try to set it up on your machine so you can still refund it if you don't manage to make it playable.
Morrowind - Worked out of the box for me on Win 10. Also has some neat graphic mods to make it less dated- Be aware though, combat in this game is interesting...
Don't own oblivion so no idea here.

Most HDR implementation right now is like bloom back in the day. It was over used and garbage because if you cant immediately notice it how is it a selling point?
Hopefully by the time there is better support devs will cut out the bullshit and do it right.

Wow had totally forgotten about that guy, we used to make that sound contantly when we were playing AoE2 in lan-parites back in the day.
By the way, I can't remember, the prices for holiday cards go way down at the end of the sale right? Also now that they are active into february, the prices should go up, so better to save the remaining cards?

Not planning on playing Transformers now, but the talk about it being delisted, and it being out ot stock on GMG made me a bit worried about missing it.

My only defence for the forgetfulness is that it is way to long ago since I played it! I don't have my boxed copy anymore and haven't rebought it digitally. I think I really need to get it again, got that AoE2 craving again!

If you don't mind jankyness (I would say Witcher 2 combat is a fair comparison) I guess you could give it a shot. It's a solid effort but I couldn't really be bothered to put more than a few hours into it.

Ended up not liking Pillars of Eternity but I am loving Civ 5. Put several hours into it on my first session without realizing it. Time just flew by.

It's the community choosen categories, and the original plan was to have only one such category, but they ended up choosing all these four.
Np. I hope you'll be able to enjoy the combat. I couldn't and never finished the game because of it. But there are people who like this combat more than the one in Skyrim.
Btw everyone. They removed Grid, Dirt 3 Complete and F1 2013 from Steam so if you want to have these games , buy them now while they are still cheap.

Why remove Dirt 3 at all? Dirt isn't an annualized franchise like F1 is.
Because game uses real cars. Once licenses expire, they can't sell new copies. (Which is bad for digital only games/DLC because every digital copy is new).
F1 2013 is kinda weird, since older games are still there. Probably related to classic mode.

I really hope you enjoy CKII, it's one of my favorite games, even though I suck at it and my dynasties fails miserable.
I forgot to buy the other major expansions I'm missing. Now I need to resist to not spend more than what I set for myself this year. lol

Stupid is a harsh word, we should be grateful that they fixed the game for all owners despite them not being able to continue to sell the game.
Yeah, you're right, we should be grateful for that, it's awesome.
But because of that I think it's weird that it's removed so shortly afterwards. It's more like "Oh shit we forgot that it expires end of 2016."
Damnit....I swore I was going to give up Devil Daggers once I reached *arbitrary time value* greater than my previous time. And now I'm not so sure I can....I only play one game at a time (stupid I know especially with this sort of game) so this is really killing my gaming....I want to move on, and whilst I know that the achievement is miles and miles out of reach, perhaps I can get a little further????
