Whenever I try to run a wud file, my emulator crashes.
I'm using the proper unlock code too, don't understand how this works.
Have you set the region? IDK what you mean by unlock code.
Many games crash because the region is set to 'auto' in Cemu.

TTT2 is an odd case where it works with AMD GPUs because of its similarity to actual Wii U hardware and is buggy on Nvidia (invisible character models).
Don't get carried away..
Yes, you'll be able to play Zelda in 1440p...even 4K if you're ambicious and have the rig for it!
60fps though? Unless the base game on Wii U is set to that, which most likely won't happen, you probably won't have your 60fps.

Are those downsampled from 4k? Looks nice.

4k is pretty demanding for WWHD, guessing it has to do with all the post processing since TPHD holds up much better
Yeah, everything embedded so far[/QUOTE]
It's beautiful!

What is "demanding", exactly? Sub 20, 25 FPS? Also, running on a GTX 970, right?
Beautiful screens!
EDIT: is 1440p available?
Isn't the Switch screen 720p?
Awaiting Pikmin 3 screens. XCX and Wind Waker HD look fantastic!

Pikmin cleans up really well. Emphasizes all the objects casting light onto other objects and the aliasing cleanup on all the little characters.

In Debug -> Upscale filter, make sure it's set to bilinear.
It's wonky atm for bicubic.

# Patreon release date: 2017-01-09
GX2: Added support for customizable graphics via 'Graphic packs' (alias graphic modding support built into the emulator)
GX2: Overhauled shader cache. Shader cache files can now be transferred between different PCs and remain compatible across future Cemu versions.
GX2: Fixed a bug where alpha-test related registers where incorrectly handled for shaders read from the shader cache
Mario Kart 8
Super Mario 3D World
New Super Mario Bros U
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Bayonetta 2
Jesus, the detail on Bayonetta's earring chain. Not sure if that would of even been noticeable at the original resolution.

lol, oopsThey're linked in the quoted post. Click the game titles.
I tried both 1080p and 4k settings.
I don't seem to get it to run with Xeno X properly. This is what I get:

So does anything run better? Performance on Tropical Freeze in it's windmill levels? Crashes gone in Smash bros?
It's crazy how far Cemu has come in a relatively short amount of time. Question though, with Switch bring pretty much all Nvidia tech how long do you think it'll take before someone cracks it?
When you're running the game, open the graphic pack menu back up. Under Active, do you see Yes? I think the graphic pack might just be accounting for the european version of the game. If you have the US version, open up graphicPacks\XCX_2160p\rules.txt and change the line
titleIds = 00050000101c4c00
to
titleIds = 00050000101c4c00,00050000101c4d00

It seems that the MK8 dump is missing the meta data for whatever reason, so I need to get that again.
This is due to shaders being compiled just-in-time as you play the game. They are then cached, so the next time you play the game you shouldn't see those hiccups anymore. Even better, it will be possible to download cached shader libraries from people who already played through the game, so you won't even see them the first time around if you do so.For Pikmin 3 I'm getting some drops from 30fps to 25 fps and sometimes even to 20fps when I rotate the camera first time towards an area. Generally runs quite nicely. This is with the 4k graphical pack.
if you used ddd you have to either hit the home button after the dump is done so it can capture a bit more if the game is a disc or usb HDD. If the game resides on the NAND you have to idle at the system menu for 30s after exiting the game so it can capture it.

Welp, if that's it, I shall buckle up for another 2:30 hours of ripping the game. -_-
If you rip to the same folder it skips over the files that are already ripped (same name and size I think).
You need that Meta folder, I think. That's how emulator can identify what game it's running.Would that be why it the graphic packs doesn't work in my case?
If yes...shit...I discovered that later on, most of the first games I ripped I quit right after seeing the title screen popping up, but I didn't re-rip because the only difference I saw is that I didn't have the background pictures of X game on my game selector in the homebrew channel.

Does Lego City Undercover work? I am ripping it now. These take forever haha. That game could be impressive with higher resolution. I notice the first load of some games seems to take a while a few games I thought crashed. The subsequent times were almost instant. I hope this could actually fix the load times which were bad on the actual system.
One thing that was kind of neat to observe was leaving Super Mario 3D World on its menu. The characters on the screen do a bunch of Mario shit and that seems to slowly build up that shader cache. At first it is a stuttery mess, then you can see it get smoother as it encounters less and less things it hasn't yet. The menu cycles through all kind of environments. I let it cycle until it was pretty much holding a rock solid 60 with very few stutters. You could see stutters when the time of day or weather would change. I played the game for a bit after this and actually got pretty smooth and would just stutter briefly again when you encounter something you hadn't yet.
