I posted about it in the demo thread, but Berseria happily renders at 5120x2880.

Crisis averted, some faith in humanity restored.

AGDQ is about to do a Super Metroid rotated sideways hack speedrun, and then it'll be a PC game marathon for 5 hours

Considering I've played Yakuza 3 and found it tedious as hell, I am really regretting backing Shenmue now >_<

Nah Yakuza series got better over time. You've been playing way too many sequels who are merely copy paste and more of the same as their predecessors.
Y3 was my entry to the series and I liked it.

Also Shenmue and Yakuza aren't really the same thing despite what people being way too reductive often like to claim.

I've always held the notion that people who say Shenmue and Yakuza re the same have never played Shenmue before or have completely forgotten what Shenmue played like.
If one were to say it was an evolution of the concept I could get that notion.
Until then Yakuza series are Action RPGs set in Modern day (at the time of release) Japan.

Hopefully Yakuza ends up coming to PC.

Don't stop believin'~~~ hold on to the feeling
BELIEVE!

Even watching people play Shenmue is soul destroying. Interesting enviroments for the time (I guess), but the actual gameplay and characters just seem so bland.

Nostalgia... it's a hell of a drug.

EDIT: Former Dreamcast owner

Berseria demo was a lot of fun after getting used to the combat again. (The tutorial blurbs weren't that helpful though)
Downsamples nice and runs smooth.

I'm also loving the new equipment/skill system so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get it
in a sale
.

To be fair, we are getting magic :P. That my mid-tier rig can achieve 4k60fps on 3DWorld and Bayonetta 2 at a fairly playable frame rate... At this stage... Shit is insane.

I think a lot of it can be explained by the fact that Dolphin already exists. No doubt it is impressive, but the developers have a lot of previous work to build upon.

I'm getting it later today, but fromt he demo it was as addictive as Paint it back to me :3

Sounds good! Mm I'm trying to sell cards to be able to get it before it goes to normal price.XD Little scared of it, since I do tend to get very addicted to picross like games.

So what did you think of Pictopix, those of you who have played it?

It is good, very logical, and the difficulty ramps up so that the game becomes challenging with some levels at 15x15.

I'm not praising the game just because the dev is French!

Marlowe Briggs is on sale for 99 cents again if you are the one person who doesn't own it yet.

Holy Molly! Last sale 2 years ago!

It might be of interest for the 3 people who don't own it, including me.

Logical and difficult sounds really good! Yeah I really need to get it as soon as possible.

Haha, c'est bon, que le dev est francaise, on doit lui soutenir!:D

Edit: Noticed that I'm actually friends with the dev on Steam, think I got a friendrequest from him way back.

Are those "Are you buying/Are you hyped for X" threads a new thing? Maybe I just didn't notice them before, but they seem to be popping up constantly now

another victim of the spring cleaning, my rock band 1 drums. Reminded me them saying on the bombcast that you used to see a ton of them in san francisco dumpsters

So its not just me.....It does seem like a very constant thing now. First Gravity Rush 2, then Yakuza 0, then Resident Evil 7 and now Nioh. Wouldn't be surprised if Tales of Berseria is next since the demo came out.

berseria is good, runs at 60fps at 4k on my 1060 gtx, don't know what's up on my end where the game crashes when trying to save settings tho, so I could only get it to run in borderless window

if you're running MSI Afterburner when trying to save settings disable that...you can then change your settings and exit normally...you can then use Afterburner like normal

Given the hype for Pony Island, I'll probably pick that up for $1 and play it right away. You guys said it's pretty short, right?
