Still got nothing on that one Fort Minor song that was EVERYWHERE in the 2000's.

It looks like a movie that came out in 2012 and that nobody remembers for some weird reason.
I look forward to remembering that this movie exists in 2020, sitting down and watching it and discovering it's a better movie than the 15% Rotten Tomatoes score had lead me to believe.

Looks like a fun Sunday matinee to me! Can't really complain. The tone feels right and the visuals seem fairly decent for something Power Rangers related.

I feel like this movie should have gone in the Scott Pilgrim direction of surreal silly. It want's to be silly but still not be silly.

I guess I might go see it? Based on the fact I loved the Power Rangers when I was younger but I don't think this is going to make me feel warm and fuzzy inside while seeing it.

I'm pretty sure that's the point. They're taking liberties with the franchise instead of re-adapting Zyuranger.

Fuck the slide off masks. Gonna be like Iron Man where we rarely get two seconds of him in full costume without the mask rising or the stupid as shit inside the helmet shots. At least there I understand their stupidity; gotta show the star. Here none of them are stars, so who gives a shit?

I think it looks great! Yeah, it' silly and some of the jokes dont hit, but I think it looks like a ton of fun. I think the suits look great on screen. The zords look better, although they are still over designed. I really like Cranston as Zordon, but I need to see more of Alpha. I do wish they just busted out the main theme for the trailer instead of Power, but it is what it is. Overall, this trailer got me hype, I'm really excited to see it.

I beg to differ. This entire movie has Transformers syndrome, bad. Clean and recognizable visual design is tossed out the window in favor of stuff on screen. There's not a effective silhouette in that entire trailer.

If I remember correctly we were told they had them but never really shown due to an incredibly low budget.

It mostly became a thing by Ninja Storm, where various teams would have 'civilian' powers, usually some one note thing that wasn't even necessarily useful in a fight (though the Ninja Storm rangers actually got a plethora because ninjas).

I don't mind the Power Ranger suits, but I hate what they did to Rita. It doesn't look anything like her. I mean, I understand they want to create something modern here and the original Rita is pretty dated looking even by this series standard, but I don't know, I just don't see anything in that design that calls to that character at all.

Not really. Most were all martial arts experts anyway. Billy was learning and Kimberly was a gymnast. This has more of a Chronicle feel to it.
Did anyone know the plot of the film? I didn't until just googling it. Rita is a former Green Ranger apparently and Zordon is a former Red Ranger. Huh.
